I think it's great that you're not rushing into surgery. It absolutely has value in the world of medicine as do many modern wonders we are able to turn to, but I think a lot of things can be healed more naturally and holistically without the need of harsh drugs or invasive procedures. The body is an incredible thing that wants to heal itself and can in many cases if given a little help. She is looking SO well for all the in hand work your doing with her 💕 it's such a wonderful bonding exercise too.
Agreed! I am totally inspired by a lady who turned her horses kissing spine x rays around by good rehab. So it’s the right path currently. It makes for such good bonding, and also just watching how she moves constantly you start to pick up on so much. 🤞🤞 it leads to some positive results.
Partly just playing around and just seeing what worked with Sienna. Using the stick as a pointer and I’ve found sometimes having the stick higher up has helped get more bend and angle from her. Also there’s a handy Fb group called No Back No Horses and they have lots of ground work exercises on there.
Yes had hocks x rayed. We’ve not checked for ulcers yet but vet thinks they know the other possible issue now. But if issues persist it would be something we’d check.

You can always try an animal communicator, who knows.
Thank you. 🤞🤞 Time will help her back improve and get stronger.
Can I ask, how did you learn to do the lateral exercises in hand? I just can't seem to figure them out!

Did they X-ray her hocks? (And I hate to jump on the ulcers bandwagon, but… has she?)
