I had to watch this video without sound because I didn’t want to wake my husband. Very interesting! I had to scratch my head when I saw you running the blender on the floor. When I saw the unorganized drawer with Owen’s stuff in it all I could think about were my DILs trying to stay organized when my grandchildren were babies. It was a challenge. The bad thing was just about the time they had a system in place, things changed. No longer need bottles and all of the different style of sippy cups. I will be watching the video again with the sound on.
I am SO with you I find peace and joy doing something creative in the kitchen. It part of the reason I was willing to begin a reorganization of my pantry. I also feel this way about gardening-WHEN THE WEATHER COOPERATES!!
Hi, you mentioned you have been having sleep problems at night with Owen, as a mother of three I found that #1-the more weight they gain the longer they will sleep at night due to the fat reserves they are accumulating, #2- trying to drop or shorten one of their daily naps and keeping them up a little longer during the evening seemed to help with longer sleep at night, but each of my children were so different so it's hit and miss. I found with my friend group that some of their children slept too much during the day and wanted to play in the middle of the night, I was determined not to let that happen with me. Also breastfeeding in my bed in the middle of the night, they usually feel asleep during the feeding and so did I :) Learning to nurse lying down, saved me from many sleepless nights
Just wanted to say that I watch but write a comment very rarely. I always use my instant pot as a slow cooker also. I have a Pioneer Woman Instant Pot. After a few months I got rid of my big slow cooker for the same reason you want to...to dimish having so many appliances. There are a few things I had to learn. One was that I have to cook everything on the high setting. That way it will be done in 3 to 4 hours. Also, I have to cover the hole in the lid with a pot holder. It was releasing too much heat. And I didn't think of that on my own...I have to give credit to Robin of Faith and Flour for that great idea. I love to watch your channel and love that sweet baby!! Happy First Mother's Day to you!!
Thank you for sharing the recipes, I have never tried the dutch baby and frittata recipe, so this will be something fun to add to my recipes. I'm new here and enjoying your content. 😊
I grew up eating dutch babies! It was a staple breakfast in our home. We serve it with powdered sugar, cool whip and your choice of fruit... Peaches are really good! Or mixed berries. And drizzle just a little syrup over the top. So delicious!
The Dutch Baby looks suspiciously like the Yorkshire Pudding my Irish MIL used to make. I looked up Dutch Baby vs Yorkshire Pudding. Evidently, the biggest difference would be Yorkshire Pudding uses the beef drippings from a roast to grease the roast pan, while a Dutch Baby uses melted butter in a cast iron skillet. Also, Yorkshire Pudding is ALWAYS savory. Thanks for showing us how easy it is to whip up something for any occasion!
I was going to comment the same thing. Although we never used beef drippings in ours. If there was any leftover yorkies after the Sunday dinner my grandma would always drizzle them with melted chocolate and we would eat them as desserts. The recipe is pretty much the same as a pancake anyways.
I’ve been making Dutch Babies for years and our fave topping is the original lemon juice and powdered sugar. They were invented here in Seattle and that was the original topping
Premie clothes are always a good thing to have! My son was a week late and only 6lbs 10 oz, his NB clothes swallowed him I wished I had premie clothes. Definitely getting a few if I have another baby and they are small as well.
Great video. You go a lot done. Owen is so sweet. I can't remember if you said you tried a sleep sound machine. I wish I had tried that. My son then and now has trouble sleeping at night. I hope to try the lotion recipe some day. It's a great gift idea.
We call it a German Pancake, so I had to look it. Dutch baby pancake, sometimes called a German pancake,[1] a Bismarck, a Dutch puff, or a Hootenanny,[2][3] is a large American popover.[4]
Girl. I have neen watching you for a while, love your vlogs. Please don't burn yourself out. Take care.

That is so interesting to know, thank you for sharing! I’ve always wondered about Yorkshire pudding!

Now I want to try that dutch baby for mother's day, looks amazing! I hope you get some sleep soon!!

Neither of my kids were good sleepers, so I know the struggle. I noticed when you were wearing Owen he seemed to have really grown-- he looks longer.
Ugh it is so tough when they don’t sleep! I keep crossing my fingers that we are close to a break through! He really is starting to grow so fast
Great video! Where is the mat in your kitchen from?
Random question: where did you get the holder for your sponge in the sink? I need something like that.
I’ve seen them at Home Goods or TJMaxx, and they probably have them at Walmart or Target. I hope you can find one!
It is a scrub daddy caddy! I found it on Amazon a while back
Hi dear i am Dutch but never heard of a Dutch baby and how can this be called Dutch baby as it is from Germany? I know dutch appelpie!!!
I am from Germany, and haven’t heard of a Dutch baby either. 🤔Looks delicious, though!
@@barbaraito1703 ha ha too funny lets make it then and give our opinion!
@@Nicolesxm68 Sounds like a plan! 😊
So I am Dutch. And i’m so confused why this is called a Dutch pancake if it’s German. I don’t get it 🤣🤣 look good though
