Paul Warburg made two salient points: Zelensky announced a month before the US elections that Ukraine has received only about 10% of the promised 61 US Billion dollars in aid this year and has fought on regardless. This is not a lot of leverage for the US to demand a ceasefire from Ukraine to give up territory. Trump threatening to ramp up supplies of aid and weapons to Ukraine is also not going to scare Putin, as the US cannot manufacture enough to do so to make a meaningful difference.
