I started journaling with stickers and decorating about a year ago when I discovered this channel. It gave me a sense of peace and made me happy but I have almost stopped completely because my new job ist a bit more stressful and time consuming so sitting down for myself to do something nice is usually more centered around reading, cuddling my cats or gaming. I tried to still take a bit of time for writing everyday in a "One Line a day"-journal but it doesn't giving me the same relaxing feeling so I don't do it everyday anymore. This video was very inspiring and made me think I should actually keep with it and just take that time to myself. For me. Thank you for your contant and your warmth and kindess in these videos, they make me very happy.

Hello, Ara! I hope you enjoyed your break. This topic in your video makes me wonder why I started a diary. It's more of self reflection and talking about my feelings. I never read it back too. It actually calms me down when I write on my diary. I don't read it back but it's nice to look back when it's nicely decorated
I also decorate and record a few thoughts every day. I only look back once in awhile. But I thought I decorate because we are more likely to remember a picture then anything we write. Because with a picture we are using more of our senses: sight, touch, etc. So even though we may not look in our journal often, we remember certain pages because of the picture and then it brings to mind what we did that day or what thoughts we had that day. Thats what I think anyway.
amazing like always, I always say this but you really are talented and creative because keeping up with writing your diary is one of the hard things that I still can't get used to, also it requires a lot of effort and with studies and work, I barely have time to sleep much less upload something on youtube and even if I want to upload a video or write a diary, my schedule is always packed to the maximum and I have to do tons of things at time but still after a hectic routine this whole week, I rewarded myself by watching your journaling on the weekend to make my weekend even more relaxing and fun because the vibes that I feel with your videos are of fun and calm and serenity, thank you so much for such amazing and cool content, always stay happy, FIGHTING🥺💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

I love how you explain your feeling about memory keeping and how you put effort in it by making beautiful journal, or simply recording videos and post it for youtube. It goes beyond archiving what happen but also, from my perspective, your video is not only record your life but also interaction directly with your viewer in this comment section, and the beautiful journal, why make it beautiful? and physical not digital? From me personally beautiful journal like yours, there's an element of texture that when touching it also remind you another sensory experience that's got recorded and you can recall in the future.

I draw the face first, sometimes before or after the outline! I feel like if I don’t nail the face, I don’t even want to continue the drawing lol. I have to get the face right before moving on!
Dear Ara, I love journaling and i have been doing this for over 8 years now. But recently i am struggling to be consistent in it specifically when I'm busy with studying, exams (also I'm being lazy😅). Sometimes i feel so sad for not doing it right. I want to fill the pages beautifully but every time it becomes a mess and i feel like i am wasting the pages😢. I really love the was you use your diaries. You inspire me a lot. Hello, Araland. I also do journaling/scrapbooking and I have been drawing since I was a kid. for me, journalling is more than just keeping a record of my day, tracks of my to-do lists - it's for keeping a "part" of me. because we can only retain some small percent of our memory, i want to try to encapsulate a part of me at that time - what i was thinking, how i was feeling, why am i doing the things i do - so when i look back and read a certain page from my journal, i could say, "ah, so this is who i was before. did i change or did i not?" 😊

Thank you for another great video! I love the way that you are my constant inspiration and yet our journals look nothing alike:). I find once a week journaling is right to capture enough of my life. I am struggling with how to journal when life is not so good, but I try and take your advice and always look for the good in every week. I've found my journal has added to my happiness in an unexpected way: when I came to write about what I had accomplished in 2022, I didn't think I had achieved a lot, but on looking back at my journal I remembered that I had actually done more than I thought. So looking back is sometimes useful!:). I also often pick up my journal during the week not to read but to look at my last layout again, and that gives me happiness too:).

The Lavender ink is truly lovely. Using the glass pen seems fairly easy, and you can change colors quite readily. So nice. I'm heartened to see your mood improving, less sadness. So much better for you, dear Ara!

I want to start writing on a journal or a diary, but I am confused about what I should write in it. Because my daily life is just going to work on weekdays whilst on weekends, I just do the house chores.. which I think it is not too interesting to be written in a journal. Uwaaaa that's so inspiring 언니. I also feel my life is just so-so. So I thought, what should i write in journal? I also want to use my sticker and washi too. 😅 . So i only thought to do some random scrapbooking for the use of all my stationery. But, this video give me an insight. Eventhough i'm still not expert to decorate it beautifully, but since i only do it for myself, not to be shown, so i guess it's okay. I guess doing a weekly journal is a good step for a newbie like me. Because it's small space, but still can be decorate with some sticker or washitape. I also love Starbucks lemon tea. I like to order "Iced Shaken lemonade tea" with passionfruit and rosella tea i guess, because the tea color is red. I order this many times back then when i'm collecting a point to buy their journal/agenda book, and because it's a bit cheaper than other menu 😂😂😂. But i think since 2021, starbucks in my country didn't sell the book again. Usually they hold the event in the end of the year till the first month of the new year. It's been a long time since i drink the lemon tea. The last time i order was iced vanilla with oatmilk latte, its nice but so much pricey for me, it's even more expensive than the one use almond milk, I thought almond milk was more expensive than oatmilk tho, or maybe because oatmilk just recently hype in my country that's why they use it as momentum to get the price higher, well, I don't know. Eventhough its delicious, but i better made it by myself at home. I use Oatside for the OatMilk, i guess it local made. Wanted to try others brand, but since it's the easier to find, i'll stick with Oatside now. Aww, the yellow journal come back again, i really love that yellow pastel color 😍💛. And with 언니 question about why you decorate it beautifully only for records a day, for me, it's so aesthetically pleasing in the eyes. And who doesn't love beautiful things? You're right, if we decorate a small space to our liking, that moment is the time for healing. And the journal we make is neither a test nor a contest, so if we like it, that's okay :D 👍 Until recently, I used to list everything from my day on the weekly page, but since the book's author's lecture, I choose one memorable event of the day and write intensively about it. For example, if I was moved by a certain drama, write 'Drama (title) day' and then write my thoughts. This way, the next time I read the page, it will feel like an essay. Yesterday I wrote 'meeting day with friends' 😊 Oh, doesn't Starbucks in your country sell books anymore? Here it is still going on at the end of each year. To get it, I need to collect 17 E-frequencies, including 3 specific drinks 😂 People who don't go to Starbucks every day, can pay and buy books without drinks. I bought that journal once a few years ago, but it didn't fit me well, so I haven't bought it since. It uses moleskin paper, and the pen is reflected on the back page😅 Is an oat milk latte more expensive than an almond milk latte? Their prices here are the same. I also make an oat milk latte at home. Oat milk has a much longer shelf life than milk, so I can buy a large quantity at once. I have a slight lactose intolerance, so oat milk is much better for me than milk 😭 Oatside is your country brand. A brand called Amazing oat is common here. Yes, there is a picture of Suga on my desk! Recently he released a new album and I listen to it every day😍 It's relatively recent that I've come to like them. Yes i do agree the paper is so thin, i also didn't really like it too. It just aesthetic. Yeah in my country we can also bought it too, but it so expensive, about IDR 1 Million (about ₩ 100,000) , i guess. That's why i prefer collect it by bought 1 drinks, eventhough if all the drinks being total is also equal as IDR 1Million 😂. I don't really know too, actually. But i guess the almond milk does more expensive than oatmilk, but maybe depends on the brand too. Ah you must buy the pasteurized milk one, in only hold about 3-5 days, but if you bought the UHT one, it can hold about 2 weeks or more. And if it still sealed, it doesn't need to keep in the chiller. But pasteurized one, must keep in chiller eventhough it still sealed. I also feel that i'm a bit lactose intolerant, so yes, I prefer vegan milk too. Yes i thought Oatside it's from my country, you can try it when you've come to Indonesia then 😆. I heard that Yonsei is has good quality milk product, it so awesome, because its from University. I'm more SM stand. I know them since Super Junior, Dbsk, then i follow their new group until now. But the one that made me spend money into buy an album is EXO, WannaOne, Seventeen, and MONSTA X. i don't know exactly why people write diaries. It's such old practice! But nowadays science assure that write things by hand have a very different effect in our brains than using a keyboard... I believe it's a way to process, organize and clean our emotional life. In your case, how you have a so intense artistic sensibility, it takes forms, colours and textures too. I love the glass pens! I don't have one yet because they are expensive and the inks as well...but the pens and inks are soooo pretty. And feminine for me! I love to watch your videos! I like how you explain everything clearly and and you always give substitutes of everything in case we do not have that particle item. It's very calming to watch you paint and write. Я вот заполняю лист своего дневника только в тот день, когда получила максимальное удоводьствие от нового приготовленного блюда, похода в кино, общения с дочерью (она за 10000 километров от меня сейчас, учится в институте - это 8 часов на самолёте до нее) поэтому разница во времени и общаемся мы смс часто, а вот звонить? Это редко. А значит можно заполнить новый лист дневника наклейками и запомнить этот еще один, счастливый день! Поздравляю с полученным удовольствием от встречи с писателем - это незабываемо!

I like recording my observations, description of the happenings which I think would be nice to remember later in my journal. Give a title to the writing and imagine that I'm a journalist covering a story. Recently I have found a lined-page journal which I never used. The reason for never using was probably because on online I always see people using blank-page journal and decorating it. I thought let's start by myself and share ideas if possible.

I started journaling with stickers and decorating about a year ago when I discovered this channel.
It gave me a sense of peace and made me happy but I have almost stopped completely because my new job ist a bit more stressful and time consuming so sitting down for myself to do something nice is usually more centered around reading, cuddling my cats or gaming.
I tried to still take a bit of time for writing everyday in a "One Line a day"-journal but it doesn't giving me the same relaxing feeling so I don't do it everyday anymore.
This video was very inspiring and made me think I should actually keep with it and just take that time to myself. For me. Thank you for your contant and your warmth and kindess in these videos, they make me very happy.

Hello, Ara! I hope you enjoyed your break. This topic in your video makes me wonder why I started a diary. It's more of self reflection and talking about my feelings. I never read it back too. It actually calms me down when I write on my diary. I don't read it back but it's nice to look back when it's nicely decorated
I also decorate and record a few thoughts every day. I only look back once in awhile. But I thought I decorate because we are more likely to remember a picture then anything we write. Because with a picture we are using more of our senses: sight, touch, etc. So even though we may not look in our journal often, we remember certain pages because of the picture and then it brings to mind what we did that day or what thoughts we had that day. Thats what I think anyway.

I love how you explain your feeling about memory keeping and how you put effort in it by making beautiful journal, or simply recording videos and post it for youtube. It goes beyond archiving what happen but also, from my perspective, your video is not only record your life but also interaction directly with your viewer in this comment section, and the beautiful journal, why make it beautiful? and physical not digital? From me personally beautiful journal like yours, there's an element of texture that when touching it also remind you another sensory experience that's got recorded and you can recall in the future.

I love journaling and i have been doing this for over 8 years now. But recently i am struggling to be consistent in it specifically when I'm busy with studying, exams (also I'm being lazy😅). Sometimes i feel so sad for not doing it right. I want to fill the pages beautifully but every time it becomes a mess and i feel like i am wasting the pages😢.

for me, journalling is more than just keeping a record of my day, tracks of my to-do lists - it's for keeping a "part" of me. because we can only retain some small percent of our memory, i want to try to encapsulate a part of me at that time - what i was thinking, how i was feeling, why am i doing the things i do - so when i look back and read a certain page from my journal, i could say, "ah, so this is who i was before. did i change or did i not?" 😊

Thank you for another great video! I love the way that you are my constant inspiration and yet our journals look nothing alike:). I find once a week journaling is right to capture enough of my life. I am struggling with how to journal when life is not so good, but I try and take your advice and always look for the good in every week. I've found my journal has added to my happiness in an unexpected way: when I came to write about what I had accomplished in 2022, I didn't think I had achieved a lot, but on looking back at my journal I remembered that I had actually done more than I thought. So looking back is sometimes useful!:). I also often pick up my journal during the week not to read but to look at my last layout again, and that gives me happiness too:).

Hi Ara 😊. Drawing/decorating is so relaxing. I can forget about all my worries...ha ha... I also draw the face last for the very same reason (need all my concentration). I apply that method in other aspects too (easy things first, hard things after ).

The Lavender ink is truly lovely. Using the glass pen seems fairly easy, and you can change colors quite readily. So nice. I'm heartened to see your mood improving, less sadness. So much better for you, dear Ara!

Because my daily life is just going to work on weekdays whilst on weekends, I just do the house chores.. which I think it is not too interesting to be written in a journal. Uwaaaa that's so inspiring 언니. I also feel my life is just so-so. So I thought, what should i write in journal? I also want to use my sticker and washi too. 😅 . So i only thought to do some random scrapbooking for the use of all my stationery.
But, this video give me an insight. Eventhough i'm still not expert to decorate it beautifully, but since i only do it for myself, not to be shown, so i guess it's okay. I guess doing a weekly journal is a good step for a newbie like me. Because it's small space, but still can be decorate with some sticker or washitape.
I also love Starbucks lemon tea. I like to order "Iced Shaken lemonade tea" with passionfruit and rosella tea i guess, because the tea color is red. I order this many times back then when i'm collecting a point to buy their journal/agenda book, and because it's a bit cheaper than other menu 😂😂😂. But i think since 2021, starbucks in my country didn't sell the book again. Usually they hold the event in the end of the year till the first month of the new year. It's been a long time since i drink the lemon tea. The last time i order was iced vanilla with oatmilk latte, its nice but so much pricey for me, it's even more expensive than the one use almond milk, I thought almond milk was more expensive than oatmilk tho, or maybe because oatmilk just recently hype in my country that's why they use it as momentum to get the price higher, well, I don't know. Eventhough its delicious, but i better made it by myself at home. I use Oatside for the OatMilk, i guess it local made. Wanted to try others brand, but since it's the easier to find, i'll stick with Oatside now.
Aww, the yellow journal come back again, i really love that yellow pastel color 😍💛. And with 언니 question about why you decorate it beautifully only for records a day, for me, it's so aesthetically pleasing in the eyes. And who doesn't love beautiful things? Also it can be some inspired to others, like how you decorate it, the template, the stationery you use, etc. It's such a blessing that you share it in youtube. 🥰🫶🫰

You're right, if we decorate a small space to our liking, that moment is the time for healing. And the journal we make is neither a test nor a contest, so if we like it, that's okay :D 👍
Until recently, I used to list everything from my day on the weekly page, but since the book's author's lecture, I choose one memorable event of the day and write intensively about it. For example, if I was moved by a certain drama, write 'Drama (title) day' and then write my thoughts. This way, the next time I read the page, it will feel like an essay. Yesterday I wrote 'meeting day with friends' 😊
Oh, doesn't Starbucks in your country sell books anymore? Here it is still going on at the end of each year. To get it, I need to collect 17 E-frequencies, including 3 specific drinks 😂 People who don't go to Starbucks every day, can pay and buy books without drinks. I bought that journal once a few years ago, but it didn't fit me well, so I haven't bought it since. It uses moleskin paper, and the pen is reflected on the back page😅
Is an oat milk latte more expensive than an almond milk latte? Their prices here are the same. I also make an oat milk latte at home. Oat milk has a much longer shelf life than milk, so I can buy a large quantity at once. I have a slight lactose intolerance, so oat milk is much better for me than milk 😭 Oatside is your country brand. A brand called Amazing oat is common here.

I guess not anymore, because i never saw any event about the book anymore. Yes i do agree the paper is so thin, i also didn't really like it too. It just aesthetic. Yeah in my country we can also bought it too, but it so expensive, about IDR 1 Million (about ₩ 100,000) , i guess. That's why i prefer collect it by bought 1 drinks, eventhough if all the drinks being total is also equal as IDR 1Million 😂.
I don't really know too, actually. But i guess the almond milk does more expensive than oatmilk, but maybe depends on the brand too.
Ah you must buy the pasteurized milk one, in only hold about 3-5 days, but if you bought the UHT one, it can hold about 2 weeks or more. And if it still sealed, it doesn't need to keep in the chiller. But pasteurized one, must keep in chiller eventhough it still sealed.
I also feel that i'm a bit lactose intolerant, so yes, I prefer vegan milk too. Yes i thought Oatside it's from my country, you can try it when you've come to Indonesia then 😆. Eventhough it only sold in 1 litre. Aaa amazing oat is common in Korea? In my country is oatside & Oatly (from Sweden). There's a small pack ready to drink one from Tropicana Slim (also local brand), i try it and it also nice.
I also like to bought almond & pine nut soymilk (Yonsei) from Korea when i saw it on supermarket. It all tasty. I even try the blacksesame one, but a bit forget how it taste. I heard that Yonsei is has good quality milk product, it so awesome, because its from University.
I'm more SM stand. I know them since Super Junior, Dbsk, then i follow their new group until now. But the one that made me spend money into buy an album is EXO, WannaOne, Seventeen, and MONSTA X. I also love ONF, they produce good song, B-side track also good, and Hyojin voice can cure my bad insomnia 😂😂😂

i don't know exactly why people write diaries. It's such old practice! But nowadays science assure that write things by hand have a very different effect in our brains than using a keyboard... I believe it's a way to process, organize and clean our emotional life. In your case, how you have a so intense artistic sensibility, it takes forms, colours and textures too. 자기전에 내일 할 일을 기록하고, 오늘 하루의 일들을 일기장에 전부 다 쓰고 있어요
시시콜콜한 일 들 이였어도 저의 희노애락이 담겨져 있기에 소중한거 같아요
가끔 기억이 안 날때 찾아서 보면 그때의 순간들이 떠올라 추억에 잠기기도 하구요 ^^

아, 맞아요 봄은 늘 짧게 느껴지죠. 저도 어릴 때부터 그게 너무 아쉬웠어요.
분명 우리나라는 4계절이 뚜렷한 나라라고 지리시간에 배웠는데 뭔가 봄, 가을은 너무 짧게 스쳐지나가는듯한 느낌이 들어서 슬펐어요, 특히 봄옷 샀는데 금방 반팔옷 꺼내야할 때요😅

글라스펜은 사실 사용하려고 할 때마다 뭔가 준비(?)가 필요해서 좀 번거롭긴 하지만 시간이 여유로울 땐 그걸로 뭔가를 써보는 게 힐링되는 것 같아요. 투명한 펜촉에 잉크가 묻는 걸 볼 때 왠지 즐겁더라구요 >.<
저도 글라스펜 쓸 때는 조심조심 쓰게 돼요, 일반 펜보다 적은 힘으로도 글씨가 잘 보여서 글씨 쓸 때는 괜찮지만 책상위에 올려놨다가 굴러 떨어지는 불상사가 생길까봐 늘 조심하고 있어요 ㅎㅎㅎ
아, 사실 그 튤립패턴 글라스잔 살까말까 엄청 망설였는데 결국은 사버렸어요🤣역시 망설이면 택배만 늦춘다는 말이 진리인 것 같아요...ㅋㅋㅋ;; 예쁘게 봐주시니 기쁠 따름입니다!

I love the glass pens! I don't have one yet because they are expensive and the inks as well...but the pens and inks are soooo pretty. And feminine for me! I love to watch your videos! I like how you explain everything clearly and and you always give substitutes of everything in case we do not have that particle item. It's very calming to watch you paint and write. I have to make myself break away from my meditative trance of watching your videos! But I come back soon (maybe not soon enough for me. But I do!)! I wanted to ask you, where do you buy all of your varied cute and pretty and funny stickers. I love the big rolls you use! Do you have places that you can get a deal on them? Oh yes! The trails you walk ARE beautiful! I live in Farmington, Utah USA. Whatever beautiful huge mountains and calming trails. It is so fun and nice to draw and paint(or not paint) or pen and ink unusual and the pretty botanical discoveries like: flowers, trees, other plants, stones, pebbles and rocks with or without insects resting on them, the rivers flowing down the canyons, even quick sketches of people along the way. And take pictures as well so I can enter them in my journal or paint them later. I draw for fun so I am not a professional artist! 😊 Thank you for sharing your gift and supplies and ideas and videos with us!

지금은 시간이 좀 여유로워서 아라님 영상 보면서 다꾸 하고 있습니다! 오늘 다꾸는 싱그러운 봄을 느끼게 해주는 초록색과 연두색을 사용하여 꾸미셨네요! 저도 다꾸를 할 때 계절의 맞게 하는 편이라서..봄에는 핑크나 노랑 처럼 따뜻한 색을 사용 하거나..연두나 초록색 같은 색을 사용하여 다꾸를 하기도 합니다☘🍀🌿 (저번에 댓글로 말씀 드렸던 것 같네요..😄😆)

Доброй ночи Ара! У меня время к полуночи, а я не могу уснуть, пока не досмотрю твой новый фильм о твоем творчестве. Замечательно получается видеть красивое и хорошее, доброе и позитивное. Я вот заполняю лист своего дневника только в тот день, когда получила максимальное удоводьствие от нового приготовленного блюда, похода в кино, общения с дочерью (она за 10000 километров от меня сейчас, учится в институте - это 8 часов на самолёте до нее) поэтому разница во времени и общаемся мы смс часто, а вот звонить? Это редко. А значит можно заполнить новый лист дневника наклейками и запомнить этот еще один, счастливый день!
Поздравляю с полученным удовольствием от встречи с писателем - это незабываемо!

I like recording my observations, description of the happenings which I think would be nice to remember later in my journal. Give a title to the writing and imagine that I'm a journalist covering a story.
Recently I have found a lined-page journal which I never used. The reason for never using was probably because on online I always see people using blank-page journal and decorating it. I thought let's start by myself and share ideas if possible.
