Having said that, they also had 8 seasons in a row in the top division from the 1921/22 to the 1928/29 season with their highest finish being 2nd in the 1923/24 League Division One. However, the way they lost out on the title to Huddersfield Town was mental. Back then, if two or more teams were tied on points, goal average (total goals scored divided by total goals conceded) would be the first tiebreaker, Cardiff scored 61 and conceded 34 whilst Huddersfield scored 60 and conceded 33. They missed out by having an inferior goal average of 1.794 compared to Huddersfield's 1.818, if goal difference was the first tiebreaker, both teams would have the same on +27 and Cardiff would have won the league because they had scored more goals. They would have been the first Welsh club to ever win an English top-flight title.

It’s gives you leeway with second nationality, but once they get capped by another nation I usually sell, with the exception of if they came out of the academy, for continental competition squad rules

That points tally compared to the recent 20-team Premier League tables IRL would nowhere near win you a Premier League title. You can call yourself lucky (Man City even finished 5th that season).

Hey Goodwin could you do a rebuild with any team you want but the only players you can sign were from the preliminary squads that were announced for Euro 2024 not players on the official squad lists
