The cop didn’t know she was pregnant! Carter told her after the fact. Diana made an emotional decision to take out Anya that really did nothing but put them in more danger. It makes for good theatrics, but it didn’t make sense.

Well, Power Force is also ending, which is another reason why it couldn't be Tommy. The writers will never move all the main characters to Chicago. I believe Diana is gonna take off from where Monet ended and she still gonna need Tariq help. You still got Davis, who is in New York, and just got his law license back. What about Blanca and her cast crew they showed at the end, meaning that it's too much business left in New York for the focus to be on Chicago. I still don't think we have seen the last of Lauren either. In fact, Tate, 2bit casting scenes aren't over yet either.

I think its Diana on the line. The last thing Tommy said to Riq is that he would never see him again, then for him to be calling for help (doesnt make sense)....to Tariq of all people? When last he knew Riq didnt even have any footing in the game.
This was the best commentary/theory that I've heard so far. I don't believe he was talking to Tommy. Imo Tommy is too far in the game to be reaching back to Tariq for help. I loved the final episode even though there were so many loose ends and it seemed rushed. Do I think Tariq is equivalent to his dad? Maybe. We don't know what Ghost was like when he was in his 20s. He just doesn't have his dad's swag.

The scenery is showing Tariq near a hot dog stand. Now granted, Tommy is a foodie but so is Brayden although we haven't seen him eating much lately because of the drugs. I think the call was from him. The white guy standing on line looks similar to Brayden although he isn't dressed like him. Remember, Brayden is involved with the fight clubs running things. I think there is a time jump where Tariq and Brayden don't see each other as much. Same as Effie. The key to this was because he didn't want Brayden as a partner but to work for him instead. Tariq is a "ghost" focusing on school. He doesn't even see Chinedu and he is the plug. If anything were to go left, feds would go after Brayden and Effie. How Tariq collects from Brayden and Effie is simple. Probably using crypto. Remember when Tate asked Tariq for his money in Bitcoin? I could be wrong but this is how I see him "cleaning money" without it getting lost like what happened with the trust fund and RSJ's money through Brayden's father's company. Something obviously happened for him to reference "family first" and "smoke". He would only talk to a select few like this.

In my opinion, in the finale, Tariq is creating buffers between himself, his family, the people who work with him (Nico and Davis) and under him (Effie / Brayden). He only has one partner: Noma's brother Effie, Brayden, Nico, and Davis run their own mini empires making their own money. Diana, if rebuilding the family business is going to need a new connect. All of them, left to their own devices have proven to be effective without phyical contact with Tariq. Everyone is eating and that is going bring new Ops. Effie will rebuild her cash reserve quickier. Brayden will be his own man. Diana has her own mini network already built. Nico and Carter provide protection from a distance. The scene of Tariq breaking down his offer to Noma's brother reminds me of what Lobos first said to Ghost about being the boss and how life could be. I am with everyone else, I believe the call was from Tommy. But if it isnt , I felt it was from Brayden because their relationship has changed. You can feel the distance growing at the end of the finale. Even visually on the campus stairs Tariq, Effie and Brayden all went their seperate directions after getting their new positions. I would think after being away from his family for so long that Tariq would spend some time with them getting set up if this last scene is a time jump. If Brayden is in trouble Tariq will bring the smoke. It was just a thought.

I think what is important to recognize, is that we have only seen the first part of Tariq's journey thus far. In other words, we have seen his rise to the top. Well, Power Force is also ending, which is another reason why it couldn't be Tommy. The writers will never move all the main characters to Chicago. I believe Diana is gonna take off from where Monet ended and she still gonna need Tariq help. You still got Davis, who is in New York, and just got his law license back. What about Blanca and her cast crew they showed at the end, meaning that it's too much business left in New York for the focus to be on Chicago. I still don't think we have seen the last of Lauren either. In fact, Tate, 2bit casting scenes aren't over yet either.

This was the best commentary/theory that I've heard so far. I don't believe he was talking to Tommy. Imo Tommy is too far in the game to be reaching back to Tariq for help. I loved the final episode even though there were so many loose ends and it seemed rushed. Do I think Tariq is equivalent to his dad? Maybe. We don't know what Ghost was like when he was in his 20s. They're throwing us off by letting us think the call was from Tommy. Tommy wouldn't want or need Tariq's help, he knows that is Ghost's son and he didn't want him in the game either. The scenery is showing Tariq near a hot dog stand. Now granted, Tommy is a foodie but so is Brayden although we haven't seen him eating much lately because of the drugs. I think the call was from him. The white guy standing on line looks similar to Brayden although he isn't dressed like him.
Remember, Brayden is involved with the fight clubs running things. I think there is a time jump where Tariq and Brayden don't see each other as much. Same as Effie. The key to this was because he didn't want Brayden as a partner but to work for him instead. Tariq is a "ghost" focusing on school. He doesn't even see Chinedu and he is the plug. If anything were to go left, feds would go after Brayden and Effie.
How Tariq collects from Brayden and Effie is simple. Probably using crypto. Remember when Tate asked Tariq for his money in Bitcoin? I could be wrong but this is how I see him "cleaning money" without it getting lost like what happened with the trust fund and RSJ's money through Brayden's father's company. Something obviously happened for him to reference "family first" and "smoke". He would only talk to a select few like this.

In my opinion, in the finale, Tariq is creating buffers between himself, his family, the people who work with him (Nico and Davis) and under him (Effie / Brayden).
He only has one partner: Noma's brother
Effie, Brayden, Nico, and Davis run their own mini empires making their own money. Diana, if rebuilding the family business is going to need a new connect. All of them, left to their own devices have proven to be effective without phyical contact with Tariq.
Everyone is eating and that is going bring new Ops.
Effie will rebuild her cash reserve quickier. Brayden will be his own man. Diana has her own mini network already built. Nico and Carter provide protection from a distance.
The scene of Tariq breaking down his offer to Noma's brother reminds me of what Lobos first said to Ghost about being the boss and how life could be.
I am with everyone else, I believe the call was from Tommy. But if it isnt , I felt it was from Brayden because their relationship has changed. You can feel the distance growing at the end of the finale.
Even visually on the campus stairs Tariq, Effie and Brayden all went their seperate directions after getting their new positions.
I would think after being away from his family for so long that Tariq would spend some time with them getting set up if this last scene is a time jump.
If Brayden is in trouble Tariq will bring the smoke.
