I have this console and it’s Fantastic! I have the Original from way back. But the 7800+ is Brand New with Crisp Clear HDMI. The size is perfect. Moving from one TV to another is quick and easy. Games look and play Great! Build your own Library of games today, pick the ones you like. HAVE YOU PLAYED ATARI 7800+ TODAY? I HAVE!

I got this for Christmas and I love it. There's just something about playing an Atari game on an actual cartridge. I hope "they" make an Atari 5200 version!! By the way, that french Atari cart dump thing was brilliant.

I found the Atari website but I see no process for buying it. Register for an account?, no, only a log in screen. I can't buy on Amazon, Walmart and ebay don't have it yet. The only game I can tolorate on that gamestation pro is Galixy gunners because I can just keep continuing the game from where I left off no matter how bad I am at it. These some weird things come after me in that game, the game designers must had been dropping acid.
My main gripe with all these new consoles is I can't play my fav Donkey Kong port, Colicovision but if it works I have the old console looking like it has seen better days. I may need to enlist help to lift the power adapter up to the outlet. Again, game designers messed up on drugs.

In the UK it's on sale in Argos and some toyshops, don't know where you are based, in the UK it can't be bought directly though from Atari's site. Some independent game shops may also have it in stock or you could buy an original 7800.

Now I'm down for going back to old school game systems. But that's too far back. Super NES, Genesis, PlayStation 1 and 2, turbo graphics 16. Ok, Atari 23,000. I don't think so that's too damn far back with those graphics they are horrendous.
There's nostalgia, then there's a promotion of this crap. ✌️_Not Really.

@geezerintotech Books are their own thing. When I want to read something ✅. Atari are their own thing✅. When I want to play a game with a controller ✅. But only a game system that's not that far back with superior graphics & gameplay ✅✅✅. Atari still sucks. ✌️_Not Really.✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅

@@geezerintotech That is a very interesting response. I never thought about old video games vs books like that.

Jutland Skies and Alien VS Predator are dope. Missing in Action is sick too.

      I got both the 2600+ and 7800+....
I love em both. I personally like the 2600+ a bit more. Feels a lil more sturdy than the 7800+
