It’s primarily a matter about addressing the individual channels directly or going through Ambisonics as an intermediary format. The latter is more flexible in terms of speaker configurations.
Great delay and there's really not a lot of immersive delays out there full stop! A shame it doesn't seem to support agnostic channel counts at the moment? Couldn't get it out of stereo mode in Plogue Bidule or Kushview Element when placed on 12 channel routings for example.
Excited to hear your take on Sound Particles' InDelay
Coming very soon. ;)
Thanks Michael! Never would have noticed this on my own. I'm excited to try it out.
You’re welcome!
You sound like Arnie!! Great review and thanks
You're welcome and I'll be back. ;)
Thanks for the review. Can you describe the difference between how this plugin and the audio brewers astrometry delay processes signal (ambisonics)?

The developer is very responsive. You might want to ping him.
@@michaelgwagner He's confirmed the AU and VST versions have an issue switching to multichannel and is working on a fix.
Yes, I noticed that the AU version has issues depending on DAW. VST3 works fine.

Thanks for the info! I filmed this s while ago so I couldn’t refer to any sale unfortunately. At $49 it really is a bargain.
