I have a better guitar, camera, and software, I'm not horribly out of tune right from the start, and I recorded everything heard (except the sequenced drums) instead of just using a backing track. I used to record my guitar through a microphone, whereas now I can connect my amp directly to my computer, so there's higher quality audio as well. Not everything is exactly like the real song, but the differences are intentional for the most part. Most of the old version is me being incapable of playing well, though to be fair that was almost exactly four years ago today and I was bad at playing most things lol
