The neck makes the guitar your intimate lover it becomes part of you so I think one neck doesn't fit all there are always tweaks to make it just right I think?
Beautiful cocobolo back. Hand shaping the profile of the neck with a drawknife on the neck requires a lot of skill. I see you superglue and tap in the frets. 640mm = 25.1968 inches. So your scale is slightly short scaled compared to the 25.5 inches scale used on most. It's only off about 40mm, but is this for better intonation?
Couple of questions: aren't you worried about cutting into the body when cutting the neck like that? Just one slip... Ugh! Also, how cone more classical guitars are mot made with a cocobolo back and sides like this one? I love cocobolo on acoustic guitars. I've recently really gotten into classical guitars. Thank you! I'm sure first answer is just pure skill and experience if course, though I still had to ask for other luthier reasons Again thank you ! And kick A work! Love the tone and colors coming out that guitar
I have watch a lot of luther videos and I noticed people building classical guitars always but the neck on before shaping it. Is there a reason for that?
The neck does not have a dovetail or mortise and tenon like a steel string guitar. Rather the neck block and neck are 1 solid part with slots where the sides fit in.
Been home sick with the Covids, and absolutely loving these videos. Thank you!!!
You Sir and people like you are the real Guitar Gods... Thank you for sharing your art.
My love for my guitar have grown more because of your video sir and such beautiful craftsmanship.

Cool! That's the 1st time I've ever heard Rafael play your guitar as far as I know. I remember it well.
Wow. Watching you work that drawknife, I thought for sure you'd cut too deep. Impressive skills/work! Enjoyed watching you chisel out that mahogany.
Beautiful hand made craftsmanship. Some luthiers are using CNC machines to carve necks, but you are doing it all by hand. Lovely.

Great video I enjoyed your thoughts and learned so much not sure why you used supper glue and no clam on heal cap ? You have interesting thoughts
You should make a video on your chisel sharpening skills.... impressive
Do you give tours of your work shop? I'm in Albuquerque, so it'll be quite easy to check it out
que madeira é essa usada para fazer esse braço?
👏👏👏
wondering how you join the neck to the body. You're not using a solera so I'm guessing you use a dovetail joint.

Just curious. Have you tried build guitar with 3 pieces wood for the neck?
thank you
wow what great work you do thank you
Hi teacher, what kind of glue do you use to fix the frets?
I use medium cyanoacrylate glue
seems totally nuts at first, but then i watch and i get it.
is that super glue on the heal and frets?
how to making the body
is that cocobolo?
I hope this doesn't sound dumb, but how does one purchase one of these guitars?

Dont most makers carve the neck prior to it being placed on the body? If something goes wrong with the neck, well, you have a lot more work to do.
