@@SoupTimmy I actually did that with one of the most SHI-(technical difficulties) small rubix cube of all time it was bad cause it has horrible turning and small so I used an app but first I used water and it helped a lil

Another method to make a cube faster is I sometimes see that cubes to better in bright, natural light. The popping colors seem to make it smoother compared to a darker room. Test it? Trust me I am not crazy

My friend dropped his cube into sand at a beach. So, because it was screwed up already, he started solving it in the sea. For a while, it felt like the best lube ever, even though the cube was ridiculously heavy

Actually, when you pour water in a Rubik's cube the lubricant in it will come in contact with water, it hardens the cube gradually.

Omg I do that when my cubes get sooo dusty, and then I rub it with a towel to dry, and it turns so fast!
Apply some oil that stay still and not flow like water, so it don't get to the surface of each piece where you touch it, on the side of each piece (the hidden sides).

Try it with the dna cube it works great and therew no rust at all
I recommend to use baby powder to lube your so it will turn after but water is still great but since the cube has screw you can use baby powder

Silicone oil also works as a lube, a single turn is so fast that it turns 180° instead of under 90°

I once used coconut oil in my cube to make faster,but it got sticky and ruined instead 💀
If you do that and wipe it down a little, it might help because of the better grip!

An easy way to make your rubik's cube faster:
1. Put more magnets
Cold water would probably make the cube turn slower but make it more controllable
I’ve done this before to solve a cube under water and that same cube is fine to this day. You just have to make sure to dry it well

That's the cube I use. One time it fell in water and it was the WORST feeling ever. I tried to dry it but every time it would have water splatters. I dissassembled the cube and it's dry. I don't have cube lube so I reassemble it to make it faster.

id actually reccomend a lighter pivot lube, for example the same type some people use on balisong knives, as its meant to make metal move smoother already

Actually I have a cube and instead of using lube I just use vaseline it doesn't make the screws rust but at the same time it's makes it turn easier and makes it smoother
Why you should not put water on your cube
Benefits:
1#. Can make your cube turns faster until it dries out.
Disadvantages
1#. It will lock up more evenly
2#. After the water dries up it becomes slower than usual.
3#. It will become fragile if you go fast enough.

water cleans all the factory lube and the lube you put on the cube, therefore makes it super dry and vulnerable after the water evaporated. Let it dry and put good lube inside out, should be good tho.
And I forgot the chlorine in water, it may damage the cube in some way. Maybe never put it in water in the first place

I SEVERELY over lubed my 3x3 and water was the only method that helped clear away the lube, but my cube has water in it now
Can you please do a tutorial on how to solve it quick. I’ve been doing layer by layer for YEARS. I can finally solve it in under a minute using layer by layer but I’d like to be able to solve it quicker. Please let me know if you can do that
