Originally it was from a producer called Henry JUNJO Lawes. The first artists was duo named Michigan & Smiley with a track called "Diseases" released in 1981 on 7" then another artist named Cocoa T released a version on same riddim & the track was called "I've Lost My Sonia" on 7" . This was the title track of Cocoa Ts album & the label was "VOLCANO" released about 2/3 years BEFORE "Golden Hen" on "Up Tempo" label in 1986. Some even say it was a Studio One by Alton Ellis but if you listen to that, it doesn't really swing like "Mad Mad". The horns section IS ORIGINAL
