Originally recorded in 1985 by Michael, it was named Doing Anything For Money. The song was going to be added in the Bad album but was declined because it wasn’t groovy. In 1989, it was reworked on and was going to be added to the Dangerous album as a intro but Michael thought it needed more modern 90s beats. In 1995, it was added as a official song in the HIStory album. Eulonzo Mixes leaked the ‘85 demo in 2022.

This song is absolutely phenomenal! This is my personal #1 Dance Anthem Remix too listen too. I’ve never heard it before! I have History on CD! I don’t think the 12” version is there. Blood On The DanceFloor Tony Moran’s Remix was separate as well. What irritates me is how so many artists have been impacted by several people either not releasing incredible Dance Tracks & not getting Remixes made! I strongly believe that Record Companies set out to destroy an artist’s career. They don’t have a clue how to market. They don’t know what category an artist should be labeled. Stop labeling people. Stop trying to figure out if a person is of a certain type or age they’re not capable of selling music. I’m sick of people condemning a true artist that can vocalize the scale’s & riffs. I can’t stand these phony Auto-tuned Voices. I know it was done as a special effect on Dance Music with Cher. Cher has been singing for Decades. I’m not saying she was the first. I’m talking about artist’s who can’t sing & use it to have a career. While real artist’s are turned down because they’re turned away for screaming. Plus, today’s listener’s have a 3 minute attention span. Remixes are fallen by the wayside. I appreciate you posting this gem.
