there's still a few cracks specially around the base of the cabin that needs to be filled and a few up there by the bedroom you can see the outside so I guess he'll be feeling them other than that it's a cute house!!
I would like to have this man build me a cabin like this I wouldn't mind it being rustic like this, but I would have to insulate it really good and bury and insulate the water line, but that is miner, and he done a great job of building it with what he had.
The use of wood as foundation material is regrettable. Even charing the logs is not going to significantly extend it's life span. Use of stone or brick would have been a wiser choice.
You can use wood as foundation material if its stabilized and piled deep enough - the problem I see (aside from lack of depth) is that he's put untreated wood directly into the ground, meaning its going to rot - traditional treating involves burning the wood so the outside is blackened - the charcoal exterior helps protect the wood from water ingress and thus, wood rot. Personally, I would have dug deep and used deeper treated piles stabilized with basic cement
The cabin at the beginning is ot the cabin he built. But i say that for a single guy. He did a rather good job on building the cabin he built. Especially doing it with a chainsaw, an axe, a drill, and a few other tools. He did a great job. The only thing that I would have done differently is i would have used moss or clay mud in between the boards for insulation to stop the wind, snow and rain from coming in. But that's just me.
Building a wood cabin in 200 days is an extraordinary accomplishment that requires a combination of bushcraft knowledge, practical carpentry skills, and relentless determination. For @Mrhuubushcraft, this project showcases not only the physical ability to construct a cabin but also the deeper values of self-reliance, perseverance, and living in harmony with nature. The cabin stands as both a functional living space and a tribute to traditional craftsmanship and off-grid living.
I do have a question I have to ask? And no disrespect to the designer, creator and construction worker of his cabin? But did he TRULY do the WHOLE Construction of the cabin by himself?! If he did! It would've taken approximately 2 years +/-, from beginning to the end!?
Excellent design and construction. Some smart choices. But unbelievably stupid when it comes to fire safety. A RED-HOT cast iron stove directly on the floor and against the wall - with NO ceramic fire shield on the floor or on the wall from floor-to-ceiling behind the stove - OR around the stove-pipe exit hole. A Fire Marshall would have apoplexy if he/she saw that. I'm amazed that these people are so smart about bushcraft/woodcraft - but so stupid when they put FIRE right next to WOOD without a fire-resistant shielding material between them. I shake my head.

Yup, no annoying narration needed🤭

Me too
If the narrator was used to sell his building skills, I can assure you it was unnecessary. What's understood doesn't need to be said. Awesome video 👍🏿
Is the siding aesthetic or functional? The stagger seems like it would allow for water to collect and not run off.
대단하다 그래서 내가 구독 좋아요 누르고 간다
Give this man some more tools and better materials and I’ll bet he will build a mansion…great work
The house is beautiful, but the tropical climate does not need a heater.
Man bast of friends
You 🐶 dogs ❤️ Love you
Smart pup” I love theme”
👍👍👍✌️✌️🙏
Excellent video. Enjoyed the craftmanship. However, the narrator uses the most corny metaphors.

ASSALAMUALAIKUM WARAHMATULLAHI WA ROHKATU, ABANG SEKALIAN DAN SEKELUARGA.
I cannot whatch this with this guy keep talking about obvious things

The narration is just stupid. The sound of him working would be much better .
" He digs like he's trying to find the lost city of Eldorado" , I think Mr. Metaphor's narration is pretty funny!
sangat aman nyaman aku suka
I would like to know the length x width x height in feet and inches
So where’s the poop going,I never saw him connect the pipe to a sewer line or septic tank!!!! Correct me if I’m wrong.
I think the toilet is installed forever in concrete....
are you vietnamese
так печки не ставят...если только для картинки, топить будешь дом спалишь😊
With out toilet...what a place to live...although just a cabin
I wanted how Lone take to build the Little home Like this”
Had to turn the volume down narrator totally spoiled it
Someone should tell him that the Lost City of El Dorado is in a different continent.

you buy the land ?
My advice would be to watch this with the sound off,
The narration is terrible,
I cannot understand why he put the overlap horizontal, surely the rain will get in.
@jasonlevy1382 A staggered or washboard effect should help dissipate the water as it flows downward, as opposed to a flat surface
I've turned the sound off voice over is crap
Vboa noite ea cama vai fazer
Siding he did it wrong😂
Let your work speak for itself. No annoying and cringe narration needed.
That's not the same house that's shown in the title of the video 🤔
Nothing noble about clearing land. 😂
Silly question, why he burn the wood..? what is that for..?
To make a silly foundation silly.
Building things with a one nail or screw technique is scary to me
真怪😢廁所

Stove 6 inches from a wood wall. This cabin will burn down the first winter.
I could have done without the narration, like a person who thinks it is annoying, or a bear with a tick behind the ear.
The most boring narration ever! I had to mute more than half the video.
Can you just be quiet and let him build. So irritating
I could do with out the fake sounding narrator.
Next video just let his craftsmanship do the talking.😊
Great work! The AI commentator was giving me a headache though, at least write the script yourself. The analogies get old after the first 100.
barefeet work whit a chainsaw 🙈
I could do with out the fake sounding narrator.
🤍
Thanks for the super fake and unnecessary narration.
This thing won’t last a year. Lol
He knows what he is doing, do you?
@ do you?
@ do you know what he’s doing?
You lier
He talking to much is full of shit
