tunein radio ended support for ios 6 at the beginning of 2014 yet it still works on ios 6. i was surprised that an internet based app with a version that outdated still works.
I’ve got a iPhone 6S and it’s pay-as-you-go AT&T. It was on the pass code screen and the lady said all I needed to do is buy mins and it would allow me to put my own pass code in but for a spare phone didn’t want to take the chance. I came across the phone just a few days ago and basically I need to act now because with it not be compatible with iOS 17 I’m afraid soon if I don’t attempt to do something it will be obsolete. Now when I power it on it is wanting me to connect to iTunes. Can I connect to iTunes without mins and attempt to than upgrade the iOS or does one have to gamble and buy mins. Just need someone to advise me on keeping this phone from becoming obsolete alittle longer
Whats funny is the youtube app on ios 6 still partially works with some work if your willing to do it I have a old tweak that the developer removed that fixed the crashing issues but as of a few months ago the home page on ios 6 no longer works but clicking links opens the app and the plays the video still along with videos being selectable there too
ah… because I was trying it for fun, and on my iPad mini it could log in and all, while on my 4S the toggle wouldn’t even stay on “on”, it would just turn off immediately. I don’t need it, but it would’ve been nice to have it
yeah... modern iOS is good because its is fluent, it works pretty good, the design elements are perfectly aligned but... iOS 6 just looks so much better and so awesome, i miss the old style, i miss the love they put in the design of iOS 6's UI.
I have an iPad 2 with ios 6.1.3 never updating it to 9.3.6 theres no point 😂 i use it to read and iMessage occasionally and sometimes a light quick google search and pandora radio which still works on it 😂 in 2024 i have old games on it i almost never play though so apart from that its just an alarm clock not kidding i use this old ipad as an alarm clock oh i did use tubefixer to fix the youtube app after installing the classic youtube app so occasionally i might watch some youtube on it if im out and about ios 4 is my favorite ios version though i always prefered the more squared off switchs in settings lol

What did you use to make iMessage work? Because I managed to log in on my iPad, but on my 4S it doesn’t even turn on the toggle…
I just tried it one day and it worked. It’s been really intermittent though.
