      Hi! I’m not a doctor but I have had this procedure done after mastectomy to reconstruct my breasts. It was called a DIEP flap procedure and they took the fat from my abdomen and, while keeping the blood supply intact, moved the fat to my chest. It required a specialized team and 12 hours, but it’s definitely possible!

    • @Daniela-xy3ow
      @Daniela-xy3ow 2 года назад +7

      I had that procedure done a year ago. They did liposuction on my thighs, 'cleaned' the fat (separate it from the blood etc.) And then injected it into my breasts. It does work, but the results are limited compared to breast augmentation with implants. You can only go up half to one cup size in one go. As far as I know, the risks are much smaller than with a BBL - IF you have it done by a professional who 100% knows what they are doing.

    Hydrocolloid patches work excellently (at least for me). Another option is triple antibiotic cream on a bandaid and keep that going until it’s completely gone, 24/7. Something that has also helped me in the past is using a mud mask like Queen Helene’s Mint Julep mask for like 30 mins and then cleaning it off and applying the antibiotic + bandaid. I don’t get many pimples now that I’ve figured out how much exfoliation and hydration my skin needs, and when I do lately I just use the colloid patches.

    The height calculation was definitely not correct. My father is 6'7" and my mother is 5'6". I'm 6'2". My husband is 6'5" and our two boys are 6'7" and 6'6". I'd say our heights are 100% hereditary.

    Hi, would you be able to provide me with a study that states, cold reducing inflammation? I have been working on a study related to this topic and I was not able to find any supporting literature for this claim, and I even found studies proving, that cold stuff has no effect on inflammation… weird I know

    ye i was thinking this doesn't add up when my mom is over 170 cm and my dad is ofc even taller (idk how tall he really is but one of his brothers is over 2 meters tall, one is close to 2 and my dad is maybe between 180-190 cm i would say). And I'm 163, shortest in our family even when counting cousins and uncles (my mom and dad only have brothers, and 2 out of 3 aunts that married into the family are really short but their 4 daughters are still taller than me by a bunch xD) or well, my grandma is matching with me rn xD

    The energy drink thing…is it true that the taurine in some of these drinks, when consumed too much, can cause blood clots? A friend of mine told me that her doctor said that was a factor in her blood clot developing. I don’t drink energy drinks, but curious if what she said is correct.

    That calculation thing is total bs. My dad is 6'2", my mom is 5'8", which would put my/my sister's estimate at 6'0.5". But I'm 6'3" (2.5" over) and my sister is 5'5" (7.5" under).

    I can definitely attest to the fact that energy drinks are bad for you. My husband’s coworker used to drink nothing but those nasty things at work every day, all day. He had a stroke at 32 because of it. Now he’s in a wheelchair and can’t do much of anything anymore. Still think all that caffeine is good for you?
    I’m also going to try that green tea and potato thing… I’m calling you out if I still have dark circles, doc 😂

    The dancing type video games can definitely be classified as a workout and burn calories, like DDR or Just Dance. But sitting on the couch just holding a remote controller playing that way won’t burn all that much. It’s the equivalent of sitting in the couch watching tv.

    the audio of your mic is peaking at -3 decibels which is good (quite compressed which is slightly less) , at minute 7:52 your ad is -10 db that is not good at all.
    i would not make the difference more than 1,5 db.

    I mean, being alive burns calories, so saying that X burned calories makes is always true. I'm kinda surprised that playing video games burns literally no more calories than the basic metabolic rate though, I assumed it should be slightly more from experiencing intense emotions and rapid movements sometimes (not significantly for your health more, just slightly more).

    My uncle ate a hot dog, slipped into a coma, and died a month later.
    My aunt said they were on their deck dancing, and grilling hot dogs. She said everything was ok, they were laughing and having fun. An hour after eating the hot dog, he started to have a severe headache, when they got to the hospital, his blood pressure was extremely high. He soon fell into a coma, and passed. I haven't had a hot dog since.
    I miss him so much, he is so loved and missed.
