Personally I don't like to put the chicken skin in the bags because I don't like the texture once it's gone cold but you do you. But that 15$ of chicken lasts us a month and having already cooked chicken makes for easy af meals

One of my best childhood memories was picking up a costco chicken and going to my families favorite picknic spot in the mountains. There was a river me and my brother would play in. We would always have a ton of good food and would stay until the sun went down. Looking back, my parents would put it together as cheap as possible and it was definetely a way to save money versus going out to eat, but i miss those days.

I've gotten a few of those 3lb Costco chickens that were easily above 4lb, and that's with the packaging and juice removed. (remove top, put bottom with chicken on scale, zero scale, remove chicken, weight of chicken is negative number on scale)

I kid you not! The best fried chicken I've ever had is from Albertsons. Their batter is so delicious that you can actually taste the garlic and seasonings all over the chicken. If you want a fresh batch, call their deli to pre-order it. Once the chicken is straight out of the fryer, it will melt in your mouth like butter!
