Scouts Help Restore Coral Reefs at Sea Base

With the Coral Restoration Foundation, Florida Sea Base engages scouts in the restoration of Florida's barrier reef. The Florida Reef Tract has been under duress due to a variety of factors including increasing water temperatures and coral disease. By helping coral restoration, scouts do a good turn for the United States' only coral reef, the marine wildlife dependent on the reef, and we hope for generations of visitors to our tropical paradise- so they can continue to enjoy the beauty and biodiversity of the Florida Keys!
