I’ve actually had an allergic reaction to poison ivy before, and it was a terrible experience. My whole body broke out in a rash, itching nonstop, and swelling up for days. Luckily, I got treatment in time, but honestly, I never want to deal with that again!
That's a tip for someone looking for a starter home. Find an abandoned home, find out the owner, make a fair offer. Many might be happy to have them taken off of their hands and minds.
I'm ashamed of the neighbors. Yes there are ones that are physically unable to help but if those neighbors that are able had just spent one hour a week trimming back it would have been much better.
You're going so far above and beyond, avoiding poison ivy is something you shouldn't have to apologize for. It's miserable. Anything you do with these properties is a blessing. Amazing how much a single day's work can improve things!
I didn't think you could find a yard crazier than the one you did a couple of weeks ago, yet you did. Great job taming the jungle. I hope you feel better soon.
When you first walked around this one the song "welcome to the jungle" popped in my head because mother nature was winning. Nice job actually surprised you managed to do it I a day.
Dear Spencer......PLEASE wear face - dust mask. You don't know WHAT has been sprayed on the greenery AND you only have 1-set of lungs. Trust me, when older YOU WILL REGRET not wearing one. This place looks WONDERFUL. You are an angel and hard working man. Thanks for posting. Can't believe the town there takes taxes but allowed overgrowth like this.
I think it's wonderful you have a concern and you're willing to share it with Spencer. You're also bringing awareness to the people reading the comments. How lovely. ❤️
When a place gets to this point it's not just eyesore, it's dangerous on many levels. Vagrants. Critters both good & bad. For houses close, trees falling. Thanks SB ❤

Spencer, when you first walked up to this house, all I saw were overgrown trees, bushes, and grass!!! You uncovered a very cute little house. I hope someone can come along and make it their home. Looks like a real treasure!!!!
Hey Spencer! Unbelievable amount of time and energy put into this video! What an overgrown disaster this house was...you have done a wonderful job cleaning this property, I know the neighborhood is jumping for joy!! So thanks from all of us. 🙏👏👍
Absolutely! A 25-minute video, but I’m sure he must have worked all day to get it done. The effort and time he put in is truly impressive. Everyone in the neighborhood is definitely grateful for this amazing work!
Good Morning Spencer and thank you for sharing these videos where you are providing a service for the forgotten and neglected properties! Wishing you and Mrs SB continued success and good health! 💕
Spencer, you are such an angel. You are proof that one person truly can make a difference. You don't only make these neighborhoods more beautiful, but safer too. You do SUCH an incredible job!!!!!
Great job Spencer! It looks so much better! For those wondering about where the branches go, I know in my city you can't just leave branches and yard waste for the city to pick up. You get two vouchers a year for greenwaste such as this and you have to haul it to the dump yourself. If no one is paying for trash pick up you won't get the vouchers. And you can't just take the waste to the city dump if you don't have them. We see quite a few people just dumping their trash and greenwaste out in the countryside and creating nuisances. So if it's like that where Spencer lives or works it's going to be better to pile it up in the backyard and let the people who eventually buy the place use their resources to take care of it.
It’s a shame that the city isn’t composting yard waste! Maryland does and sells it. This helps pay for the cost of pickup and recycling!!! The city needs to investigate its options as it sounds vastly inadequate!
These video's are so relaxing to watch-like Miss Pacman eating all the dots and the sounds that are made, ie. the fast clipping and the rustling I'm told it is ASMR. Love the work you do, and yes if there is a house, it should be occupied 🙂
That's a really cute house. After the yard was cleaned up, maybe, someone would like to buy it. This is the 2nd "Yard Work" video I watched tonight. It gave me pleasure to see everything being cleaned up so nicely. Thank you Spencer for being an Angel. 😇
Wow that one is a true jungle. Good thing you found it and made it look decent for the neighborhood. Great job Spencer have a great weekend with Ms. SB!! Oh no had to come back after I saw the poison ivy part. Be careful just cleaning it up the way you did makes the neighborhood look so much better. Great job!!
Spencer, nice work. I think 🤔 you need to get some chemical spray to spray those places where you have poison ivy around. At least it’ll help kill it while you’re cleaning things up. Work and stay safe.
Great transformation; you can't expose yourself because people think this that and the other. You definitely improved the property for the neighbors! Some people are always going ti criticize no matter what you do or don't do. Do your best and forget the rest. :)
Hi dear, all I can tell you is that you need to take care of your health. If those people that have complained about what you leave behind. Don't worry about them. Because you are helping the neighborhood. Also, you are doing it for free. What else do they expect. God bless you and you are doing a great job.
This is one of your best videos Spencer. Trimming bushes/trees back makes all the difference. The neighbors have to be ecstatic with the "afters". Nice work!

Spencer, I really understand the poison Ivy situation... you deal with this on a daily basis & you do what's best for you & your body. Property looks way better.
I've been in a mowing business for 34 years going on 35 and I enjoy watching your videos on different places where you've been at and I have done yards. That's really overgrown takes a while one man person. I do all my work. You have a good day and a blessed day. See you next time

If I am pulling weeds and discover poison ivy in there I pour rubbing alcohol on my hands and lower arms. It has kept me from several out brakes.

Finally we see some work! You have been slacking lately and I have been watching more midlife stockman. When I watched recent videos I say "midlife sean wouldn't leave it like that"
Ah Spencer, I watch you cutting down all that wonderful growth, and just want to be there with my mulcher turning it all into wonderful compost/mulch for the garden beds!
Looks great Spencer. It is a shame such a cute little house can’t be home to a small family; hope the neighbors find out who owns the property & someone can buy it & maintain it.
Spencer you always do such a great job of edges but I'm curious to know what you do with branches and cuttings. We don't see you bagging cuttings or loading your truck with branches? Maybe you have fairies doing the job😊
To whomever it may help. Poison ivy oil can stay on boots, equipment, anything for a very long period of time and still cause a reaction. Everything needs to be washed with soap and water or wiped down with rubbing alcohol if soap and water would damage that item. Reactions from touching the oil will continue until it is removed from that item/surface.
Spencer I don't blame you for not cutting down that poison ivy. You did a great job on this property. It was so overgrown. I hope someone does buy this house. ❤
I like your videos! I grew up doing hard labor until I retired so I don’t know if it’s the satisfaction of the clean up or I’m just so glad to see some people that still work this hard?
Totally agree with someone’s comment put a tarp down put all your branches on the tarp and pull it with your mower. I’ve seen other RUclipsrs do the same.
I don’t blame you for not wanting to mess with the poison ivy. The difference before and after is phenomenal. Good work, as usual.
Me neither. I have a terrible time with poison ivy when I get into it.
The long-term effects are not worth dealing with, assuming you're susceptible to it, which Spencer is. It's a job for the paid professionals.
Looked good. I heard boiling water kills poison ivy if you keep pouring over it.
I’ve actually had an allergic reaction to poison ivy before, and it was a terrible experience. My whole body broke out in a rash, itching nonstop, and swelling up for days. Luckily, I got treatment in time, but honestly, I never want to deal with that again!
Yep, that horrid weed can cause respiratory issues. I found out the hard way. Spencer be aware, it can be inhaled!!!
I hate to see so many empty houses falling into disrepair when there are so many people who would love to have their own home.

You are one of the rare people who make the world a better place. Bless you.💗
SB Mowing: Making America better, one yard at a time! This one was an unbelievable improvement. Nice work!
