+Mountain West Highways Yeah, for sure. I have stuff on the older channel I had ions ago before Calgary kinda put that to the backburner, but the quality is not so high compared to now as I got better editing.
Was wondering how cool that road looked in person when browsing the aerial view on Google maps! MASSIVE mountains and a narrow 4 lane freeway through a very dense city somehow moving... How do y'all Canadians do it???
+Schwenda Productions I take it you are referring to the 4:10 point of the video where it is narrow as all hell and plenty of weaving? It is actually going to get redone somewhat via the Lower Lynn Improvement Project: www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/transportation/transportation-infrastructure/projects/highway-1-lower-lynn-improvements.
There's enough room/money/people not concerned about the immediate environment to get that tight spot improved?! I guess the DOT's being like, BRING IT ON! Lol
+Schwenda Productions I know right, but BC is a 'nanny' state when it comes to messing with beauty. Also, it is not so high on their sh*tlist to do; widening the Trans Canada from Kamloops to the Alberta border is!
I always find it so odd the way the people so powerfully identify with the TCH as a national symbol and usually refer to it as such as a general label but then turn around and call it "Provincial" Hwy. 1 like it doesn't even exist. Especially out west when it's Highway 1 across four provinces.
+Andrew Luimes This is BC portion of the Trans Canada Highway, hence I throw the BC in there so folks know it is such. It would be national if it was fully maintained by the federal government.
Great work on the signs. Love the redesign of this entire freeway, which I still haven't gotten a chance to see yet since the rebuild. Nice video!
Thank you sir. Life has been taking time away from editing videos from 2015 on.
Reason Whistler is the control destination is the same reason that Banff is the control destination from Kamloops and Calgary.
Very cool stretch of highway! That bridge at the beginning was very cool! You're channel is off to a great start too!

I take it that big rigs are not allowed on "the Cut". There are no runaway lanes.
It isn't that bad, but yes if a incident occurs here it is bananas!
Truck traffic going to the ferry usually go through tsawwassen
Nice job !
+Freeway Franks Thank you.
I like Vancouver!
Sweet. Good stuff
+Trans Canada Phil Thank you sir. You got some nice stuff as well on the Yellowhead in Alberta and the Ring Road in Regina.
