I agree with Ross. He wanted Jim and John Harbaugh. He also tried getting Brady and Payton. Can't blame an owner too much for trying to get those 2 together, even if it did cost us a 1st rd pick. If he lands them and we get to a Super Bowl or maybe even win one. We would be praising him, and saying it was well worth a 1st rd pick. 😂
I don't think you can just say, oh if Tua was healthy, they probably win 2 more games. Tua has always played well for stretches of games. Not an entire season. If he never missed 4 games. I'm not sure he's able to sustain his level of play. In 2022, he was good the 1st few weeks, he gets hurt, misses 3 games, then came back from concussion and played well for a month before his play declined and he got concussed again on Christmas. Last year, he stayed healthy all year. He starts off hot, then his play tapers off after week 6 with a good game here and there before collapsing at the end. This year was similar in many ways to 2021, he got injured early in the year, missed a few games, and played well down the stretch until the last few weeks. Opponent definitely factors in, but I've always said that Tua's not the type of qb who can play at a consistent level for a full 17 games, and nothing that I've seen in his first 5 years has changed my opinion.
It's not rest, he has a bad hip and re-injured the hip injury he had in college and has limited mobility (at least to play in an NFL game). This may be bad
Aaron, this team is built wrong and has no identity. The QB play is constantly bad against good teams. It is not all on Tua, but name a game when he has put the team on his back. Even when Tua is healthy, he still throws bone head ints and make questionable decisions against good teams. Grier has to go enough already. McDaniel is 💩

I want to know exactly what Tuas diagnosis is on that hip. If not I believe they are just resting Tua on a no win season!

That's the narrative on Tuas so called hip injury. I don't believe it!
