That asshole egotist Paul Shaffer is worse, he & his ego has to jump into everybody’s musical performance like they wouldn’t be any good without him. Some big named bands won’t play on Dave’s show because Paul insists on being part of their performance. Don’t dirty comment back to me saying, but Paul’s the music director, he can do that, what other late night show music director have you seen jump into the musical guests performance uninvited? NONE!
@@joshhopkins9735 WOW. That is very say. Never even seen that in the news. Guess it was not important to them. I loved there music. Wish they had made more of it.
Live music doesn't get much better than that, now does it!! Love that nasty baritone sax putting some bottom in this bad boy. BTW, the song starts at 2:45.
Tempo was too fast! Nevertheless, great song! Purchased the CD many years ago when I was looking for a replacement for Creedence Clearwater Revival( my favourite)
Tempo was fine ! Got the same CD YEARS and YEARS ago !!! It's a talk show and tossing in the CANUCK PAULY something is a bit of overkill . GO have a coffee Paul , we'll call you when we really need you eh .
You just cannot help yourself from wanting to dance to this song. It totally rocks. Love it.
i danced in my seat 😂
This is one my favorite country music of all-time and I can play this again and again.

Letterman is a tosser full of his own importance
agreed, he is a self centered talking head, only watched this video for the tractors

Totally rockin!!!!!!

I was listen original song, but Litterman music band do not disrupt original song and add more colorist to the song !!!!
Who's doing the voiceover to start this? I've heard him before.
Rip
What ever became of The Tractors?
Tom Dutkiewicz
They kept playing until 3 of the 5 guys have passed away.
I never knew they was from Tulsa
Okay the sound guy decided we only wanted to listen to the musicians. I like to hear the singer but this works as a soundtrack.
This seems like 15 lifetimes ago.
The BEST!!!

Can't Paul Shafer ever mind his own business, they didn't need his help.
The whole Late Show Band played along. It was rehearsed.
@@karljohanlea5564 Planned and prepared, and Paul Shaffer has a DOCTORATE in music!
Dave Lindstrom so what, an over educated fool !
He's a wanta beeeee
His music pedigree is deep and long. Everybody wanted him to play with them. He's the band leader on the Late Show for good reason. He's damn good.
It's never 2 late Jeffery D.
Just shake that kevin 🥓.
2 minute and 45 second lead in to a 3 minute song? Are you kidding me?
Brilliant Music but two minutes forty eight seconds intro it will be time for an advert, Bye
why do they have two drummers playing two different kits at the same time?
Why did the Allman Brothers have two drummers? Why ask why? Just enjoy.
Because they can
One set is keyed lowered to give a natural reverb effect
Cause the late show band always plays along
I hate Paul too
Woder why didn't make Big for
Paul Schaefer always sticks his no talent nose in everything. Great song and group.
No talent? He was the leader of the Blues Brothers band. He's played with every artist who is anyone in every genre.
I think he was with Bachman-Turner-Overdrive for a short while?
The music is Boogie Woogie, not country.
Boogie-woogie has influences swing music and county and western music over the years.
