I took this weekend off from work months ago and only a while ago did i realize it was the same weekend as worlds which is so exciting. I enjoy watching the live streams, and instead of having to wait after work to watch new announcements for the video games and TCG, i get to see them right away. I'm excited to see the new mechanic announcement for next year.
Spoilers for those who might not know.
I know we're supposed to get trainer's Pokemon next year so I'm really hopeful and excited to see if they're going to reveal them this weekend 😁
Also, I love your ideal deck choice for worlds. I would've brought the Loyal Three deck 😊

From the non-shrouded version, I dropped an ultra ball for Devo and it's helped a lot with zard and drago MU
I found devo to be useless in here especially as can set up checkmate with draga
@@LittleDarkFury i agree. Especially when it comes to knocking out active zards by placing damage on benched ones (60+10 or 30+40) over 2 draga attacks has helped me, especially when rare candies are low since most decks don't run solid item recovery (cylene, etc)

Dragapult is a spicy choice, personally I think regular Zard with dusclops is going to be the best overall. Super consistent, has outs to everything, and the best players know it really well because it was BDIF for quite a while before twilight masquerade.
As much as I like this deck, I feel like dusknoir is way too important in a dragapult deck than it seems. In my worlds testing, cutting zard entirely or leaving only a 1-0-1 line is optimal as you need room for dusknoir. The ability to take 2 multiprize turns into so manu decks with dusknoir allows you to win in just 3-4 turns by going 0-3-3 or even 0-0-3-3.
Nonetheless, this deck could easily show up at worlds, but to anyone wanting to play this deck, I would strongly recommend trying to fit in a dusknoir line.
Haven’t seen the video but considering he hasn’t done any videos on Drago Vstar I’d be surprised if it wasn’t that

I have a question for anyone also piloting this deck my version relies more on zard as the main attacker but pivots to dragapault is it potentially worth it to not be on canceling cologne for cornerstone ogrepon or at that point is it possible to try to get to dragapault to take out the cornerstone? My lines is for the zard line 3-1-2 and for dragapault 2-2-2
I've been playing this with Dusk a little and it's wild! Probably overcooked 😂
Mill decks need to run Xerosic, I think, since your opponent is likely to hoard cards for Iono. May be hard for Tusk mill, though, since you want your supporters to be ancient.
This season is rough for mill decks, with fast attacking decks and Pecharunt making catch counter useless, it's harder to establish your board state. Then there's the risk of the Duskclops line, Kyreum (no manaphy) and dragonpult (no Rollo) hitting your back line
What other cards might you consider adding? Personally my local meta has never found manaphy to be worth it.

You’d have to be diligent with prepping your energies. It might not be that bad with the amount of HP dragapult has too.
Iron thorns does 140, might have double turbo on it too, meaning it would take 3 turns to knock out one dragapult.

you should create a new serie where you create a new ptcgl account, and work with the beginner decks & cards you get from pack openings and climb the ladder. i think it'd be really interactive and fun for new players like me

Lame. Im really not a fan of meta users. I got an anti meta deck i made specifically because everyone wants to play this kind of bs. I was hoping for a little more originality.
(I get its competitive, and you want to win. Personally if i got a win playing meta, i wouldnt like it. Feels cheap.)
In a high level setting, not playing meta or a strong deck is handicapping yourself. It’s not cheap to pilot a top tier deck, because said decks still take a lot of skill to pilot.
it's a worlds pick, would you blame the ravens for not keeping lamar jackson on the bench for the super bowl. zardapult is also not at the highest tier. rogue is fun but there's a competitive side to the game that requires people to use the best of the best cards. L take

@AngelRamirez-rz6wb I stand by it. Winning is important, but not everything. The ends don't justify the means. This causes everyone and their mom to play these decks and at some point when the deck is so over powered, piloting becomes almost non existant. Deck making has taken a massive hit because most people don't even try to think for themselves and just copies winning decks. Such a heavy influx of meta deck users has ruined the game for many, especially casual players. Meta will always be a thing, but the current state severely impacts the game as a whole.
@TreeckoTVV not saying to play a bad deck. That's the biggest problem. Everyone thinks non meta decks are just bad. That's exactly what I'd killing the deck building economy. Go ahead and just stay subpar, always playing other people's decks they worked hard to create.
