Western houses do the same, though. There are a handful of "noses" in the world, composing most of the commercially available fragrances on the market. I respect Cee, but have worked for fragrance companies and know they do it. Besides, the ones Cee called out mostly have differences that set them at least slightly apart.
Have never smelled the big "3" DNA's or their originals, but I'm with you when I say I'm tired of BR540 and PDMD. Almost any frag channel I come across praises those two to the highest degree or claim they're needed in your collection if you're going to wear fragrances, and I'm over it. I do however want the two you reviewed simply for packaging. I'd been eyeing them for a year now and just never pulled the trigger. I'm sure BR540 and PDMD are extraordinary and unique, but when they are literally on everyone's lips, shelf and wishlist, I'm good. Even if half of them don't have the original, they have a dupe of some kind so they're basically smelling alike. My untrained nose wouldn't know the difference but over pushing these dna's has turned me off completely.
I love the Delina DNA and that of Baccarat Rouge. I have a few niche fragrances, five, literally. I do not mind dupes or clones at all. I love them. So although you are tired of these DNA, I really appreciate your reviews. Thanks.
As you know, I love trying various layering combinations. I also buy fragrances based on the notes, and I do layering combinations the same way. I'm moving close to 30 Middle Eastern fragrances in my collection, and another 30 niche fragrances. I layer so that I don't smell like everyone else.
I'm in love with Dakota from Amazon, so inexpensive and really beautiful powdery soft rose, you will not regret it. Fashionably London from Zara is also nice but more herby. I am awaiting Club de Nuit White Imperiale but I heard it's very sweet with prominent lichi. I also love Swiss Arabian Rose 01 which is said to be exact dupe but expensive, and I think Dakota is the closest one.
@@SuperLongly just fyi I got the Club de Nuit Imperiale and I DO NOT like it at all, it is a dupe for D Exclusif and they are very different, I only smelt the original D. The Exclusif/Imperiale has a weird powderiness that I can't digest, it reminds me of some cheap perfumes for some reason, the Ansam Gold has the same thing going on. It's awful. I highly recommend you go to a store and smell both Delina's bc I think the OG is much nicer, I love my Dakota and Rose 01 and also London from Zara. I will force myself to wear Imperiale to see if it grows on me but I reeeeally do not enjoy it one bit.

Just to chip in on the Delina Exclusif dupes, I believe Thouq (Lattafa pride I think) is a very good dupe of Delina Exclusif too. It’s on fragrantica so you could check out the reviews too. Mine is on the way to me.

Rare Tiffany is definitely elegant and smooth, a little fuzzy. I describe it as a cashmere sweater in a bottle because it's so warm, soft, and womanly (not matronly). She's a quietly confident lady you want a hug from.
I disagree, if you're going through a "honeymoon phase " of a fragrance , you will collect quite a few variants of them! I am someone who adores BR540, I have many different frankers, I only decluttered one (Untold by Armaf), but continued buying "blends", so BR + other well known DNA. It becomes like 20x better! Dua has been very successful with their Casino Royale line - which gives the same DNA new life and new interesting twist, so you don't get "tired".
Never tried the Delina myself, never have smelled on friends or family.. It costs a lot of money for being just one of the fruity floral else one.. I saw people sell it for near 100$ for not full bottle.. You know.. Sometimes the cost I think is mostly for brand name.. I smelled some hi cost perfumes on women near me like cherry TF and some other I never new about but they cost A LOT of money - and hardly can say that I was impressed. At the same time at the middle price segment and even low price I tried very very beautiful ones, and aspecialy arab perfumes this year became favorites.. They have rich smells and opens and hold on for a long time.. Can't understand why the most rich people prefer the european brands.. Maybe just course the hi prices..for holding the vip status.. ?
Wow! I feel the same about the jasmine wisp DNA even though I only learn about them from reviews. However I have experienced fruity perfume DNA through Armani Si which I am tired of too. And I have concluded that may be I don't like fruits in my perfume.

I can not stand Floral Bouquet! 🤮 It is so loud and harsh. 1 spray is even to much. This is not a good dupe for Delina. I believe if someone smelled this and thought this is equivalent to Delina they would never try Delina. I kept it for the bottle but I will NEVER spray it again! There are many great dupes for Delina but this is wretched! 🤢

I really enjoy your videos and i am on a journey of finding a perfume who has Jasmine, Patchouli ,Tonka beans , bergamot, incense( more ambery) and rose in it ( very subtle ), very feminin not to heavy but with personality,a little spicy/ Oriental / warm in the dry down all notes blend perfectly,who has at least 6-7 h power and good sillage. My favourite perfume is So elixir ( gold bottle) from Yves Rocher , i wear it for over 10 years but last 2 times i've brought it the price has double increased and it doesn't last more than 2-3 hours and i was very disappointed! Could you recommend me something in this direction? I have brought Tharwah Gold by Lattafa and Armaf Club de Nuit the dupes i love those perfumes a lot also but again my budget is very under 40-50 €. I have the Zara true amor which people say is a dupe for delina, but I’ve never smelt the original so I don’t know. It would be nice to have a series that features different perfumes that smell like the original (or smell the same) so that we don’t waste money buying the same perfume but in different bottles. Especially since most of us blind buy these. Some popular perfumes that have multiple dupes are Delina, BR540, Good Girl, Angel Share, Erba Pura, Lancôme Oud bouquet, Kirke. The white one I want purely for the bottle😂

Hi Sim💛💛 I bought a BR540 dupe from Triple Traders. It’s very good. I had a sample of the original and can’t smell it after 10 minutes! The dupe is better, for one thing. The other thing is that I will never pay the price for BR540….never! I have no desire to try Erba Pura! I tried 3 samples from Navitus. I don’t like the Navitus DNA! After 1 minute, they all smelled the same. I found them unpleasant. Thank goodness for samples!!!! I dislike Delina…intensely! The original Afnan Ornament is one of three fragrances that are not for me. The three are Ornament by Afnan, Ajwad by Lattaffa, and Wajd by Swiss Arabian. I’ve cleared the pipe, and let them sit for over 6 months. I can officially say…nope😟….not for me. Do you like them? You look exceptionally beautiful today! 🤩🤩🤩

I bought both when the Pandemic started and I didn’t like Dessert Rose at all!, fruits with oud , it didn’t blend well, I didn’t understand it if that makes sense....but last week I tried it and it has gotten much better, it took 2 or 3 years but now I can wear it and enjoy it. Floral Bouquet has gotten even prietier, I love it. I am glad I bought them because the price, bottles and fragrance are very good and I don’t need to buy the OG’s.
Thanks for doing these videos; I also own 2 Delina dupes and 2 Erba Pura dupes (by accident, believe it or not, because I have never smelled either of the originals 😮), and I am done with these as well. We need innovation, not houses that release 30 fragrances every year!
I just saw a perfume last night from Afnan called Historic Doria, I was very intrigued. Thanks for this video. I'm also confused why the brands keep releasing the same perfumes in different packaging. Whenever I add one to my Want shelf, I have to keep cross examining to make sure it isn't the same as this or that perfume I also have on my shelf, it's like a puzzle to solve every time! 😖
I know it's bad if you're considering decluttering Jasmine Wisp. I got that perfume because of you. So I feel for you.😢 I think Middle Eastern Brands have been put in the spotlight for duping existing Perfumes, so straying from that might be hit or miss and that might not be as Profitable. For those Brands to be more creative, it would require them put more money into development, which may result in an expensive bottle of perfume. (So it's a Catch 22) As someone with a relatively small collection, I find myself waiting for hype to slow down before purchasing, that way I can do proper research before I buy. I just re watching your video of Maison Francis Kurkdjian Gentle Fluidity Gold. I remember at the time thinking I wish I could justify spending so much money, I checked again Aus $500 or so and then tax added and shipping. But it sounds so perfect so lately I have been looking outside of Lattafa fragrances and doing a lot of research ( to distract myself from stress) and found a flanker by accident and kept researching as it was calling out to me so much. I just ordered (from a reputable store I bought before) Maison Fragrance World Barakkat Gentle Gold EDP Perfume .It is meant to be pretty similar and a really well blended beautiful perfume. It is meant to be just a touch sweeter but to me from what I read and heard it reminded me of all the perfumes you mention. It called out to me so strongly and will be my last perfume purchase for a long while but I had to order it come what may. I just felt it was perfect for how I feel right now. Hopefully getting this within 10 days or so max as it comes from the mainland. I am getting Viola today I think or tomorrow , cannot wait to smell that one. I remember at the time thinking I wish I could justify spending so much money, I checked again Aus $500 or so and then tax added and shipping. But it sounds so perfect so lately I have been looking outside of Lattafa fragrances and doing a lot of research ( to distract myself from stress) and found a flanker by accident and kept researching as it was calling out to me so much. I just ordered (from a reputable store I bought before) Maison Fragrance World Barakkat Gentle Gold EDP Perfume .It is meant to be pretty similar and a really well blended beautiful perfume. It is meant to be just a touch sweeter but to me from what I read and heard it reminded me of all the perfumes you mention. It called out to me so strongly and will be my last perfume purchase for a long while but I had to order it come what may. I just felt it was perfect for how I feel right now. Hopefully getting this within 10 days or so max as it comes from the mainland. I am getting Viola today I think or tomorrow , cannot wait to smell that one.
