For the streaming time -- They haven't actually announced the start time of leagues 5 just yet. I'm just planning to stream that day at 9am CST. If leagues doesn't start 'til like 11am (or whatever) then we'll just be chatting about all the different leagues stuffs and maybe afk some transit on the side until it kicks off.

I really hope soulwars meta comes back this year as a really good training method // rune ess farm. that was one of the funnest surprises last year running soul wars at all different stages of account builds, first seeing everyone in blue wizzy, then seeing inf robes, and lastly seeing virtus & shadows
They have stated that the xp will be changing for soul wars this year. It'll still be good for resources, but sounds like it'll be bad xp or no xp when compared to other stuff (like scurrius).
Going in again with no plan, letting my unmedicated ADHD go wild 😂 gonna be a great time, I can't wait. Hopefully the mobile UI/plugin stuff doesn't get delayed again and makes it in before the start
I figure Scurrius is getting empowered, if there’s one in the starting region, both because it’s new, and because all 3 combat styles are viable there with decent combat levels.
Unfortunately they confirmed no echo boss in the starter regions (in the leagues discord I believe). Guess that means poor ole scurrius is just going to get absolutely flattened by people lol.
@@SkillingNChilling Truuuue. Pets carry over league to league. I have yet to get one so would be a good candidate. Probably going to be grinding there for cmb levels anyway.
@@YewJackOSRS It may not be until next league when Varlamore p3 is ingame, but Civitas Illa Fortnite would be a great starting area and there are bound to be some curveballs out the gate this league * shrugs*

I agree with you once all the parts are out that it is a much more likely thing to happen. I have a hard time imagining them opening up "Misthalin + Karamja" as an unlock. I suppose they could still give you Karmja and make Misthalin a choice. The areas might be too weak though right now for that to be feasible. Edit: I read your initial comment as we get Misthalin + Karamja + Varlamore at the start. That's why I said ain't no way lol.
They did Zeah only as the first ever league... I feel like, depending on what's released in Varla pt3, but I could see a varla only league in the same vein. Not that they ever will. But it could be done.

Would be interesting if they somehow remapped regions for a future league. Instead of basing it on in game kingdoms/nations they could just do “Zone 1, Zone 2, Zone 3” etc.
For the future videos you're surely planning: please leave the content that's definitely locked behind a different region to those respective videos. For example, leviathan is clearly desert content, not misthalin content. Same with addy and rune dragons; they're fremmy content, not misthalin content.
I'm not sure about that. I personally like to see how the content ties together. Would you expect them to be in the Fremennik region for example? What if something takes multiple regions to unlock then (dragon platebody needs fremmy + kandarin as an example)? I guess I'm just not sold on the rationale here. Maybe you can give me some additional thoughts on this.
D2 boss are the only boss locked with a different region that I can think of.. here's to hoping they are unlocked with just the region they are in, and not needing desert for dt2 quest completion.. e.g. available without the quest.(as they really should be).

Get basic stuff at the start, pick up armored zombies on area 1, TDs on area 2, Leviathan on area 3. Although, unlocking it at the start probably isn't that big of a deal really. Not like lvl 3 folks will run around doing leviathan lol.

Just a heads up, the Kudos requirement was removed from Volcanic Mine earlier this year with the big skilling rework they did.

They've confirmed that you start with misthalin and karamja at the start and you get three unlocks. It's in the raging echoes blog
