I just ordered a 7 Pro on ebay which has a green tint now but i hope i can fix it by reconnecting the connector, also cleaning it.
But its good to know the display is rather easy to replace on that phone.

We are using b7000/t7000..if you are using adhesive try to find original pre cut version. Otherwise there are issues with the durability

My cellphone was damaged by water by the way
It is good if you can buy with the frame. Easier for the repair. But it depends on the availability. Also, if you buy an aftermarket screen, the touch id will not work. If the device got water damage, be careful, make sure the board is clean before you doing any repair
@@DIYGeardo what happens if u buy with no frame? It wont work? I bought one from ali express for 150 original oneplus screen no frame it says.
@@Çorumlu38 It will work, but the steps are a little bit different. Make sure you remove the screen safely and also clean it. Finally, use proper adhesive or glue, otherwise, the screen will pop out from the frame.

I replaced this same display which is diamond quality original and same M logo on screen reborn...but after connect display I can't find fingerprint option !! So, fingerprint not working.. is it for display replaced?
What do you mean m logo? Well if you cannot set up the fingerprint then something wrong with the screen or may be with the repair. How much you paid for the screen?

I managed to replace my broken screen and it worked well first 2 days
then I noticed that sometimes it becomes irresponsive to thin touches (eg. My nails) and it's 90% irresponsive to any touches when set my phone on a surface + ghosty touches during phone charging

If the screen is genuine it will work, but some cases you might need to set up again.
Fingerprint works fine after changing touch and how does it feel, I work like new or local
If the screen is genuine the Touch ID will work fine..

Motherboard.i dont think so. it has some different specs and board will not fit with the new board.

Yea, but can be board too..because of the water damage..let it dry and then check what is going on.. probably a new screen will do, but can’t say 100%

Well i think it is a bad screen, but might have issues with the board too, try to do hard reset..maybe it might help
