What a magnificent engineering. We had the 1980 FIAT 131 CL 1600cc 4 cylinder in line, and the 1965 FIAT 1800b 1800cc 6 cylinder in line. Those two cars made me love Italy 🇮🇹 and respect Italian engineering.

These cars are underrated beauties. In future I'm definitely gonna add one to my car collection. We have a different name for this car in my country and it's "Murat 131". And this was an information you didn't need.

As a teenager in the 80s , I loved the 2 door 131 supermirafori 2000 TC specially in orange , not scene any model 131 in years wish I'd tried sourcing 1 in the 90s or 2000s when occasionally they popped up for sale.

I owned one for a short time in NZ in the early 1990s. Possibly my favourite ever car (including the Alfa Giulia QV I just sold). This one looks fabulous. I had to sell mine because of rust, and now I live in Australia, they never had any here, so I have no real way to buy one again.

A friend of mine had exactly the same car, and I think I drove it the most. What a funny car to drive, but those twin Weber carburetors weren't easy to get right. The main issue with that car, and nearly all cars in the same era. They rustet, as Norway uses too much salt on the roads during winter time. No, I'm looking for a "new" one, and it might be exactly as in the video.

Ahhh bellissima!! He requested it with the bigger than the standard 175 standard wheels it came with the “cerchi in lega” (alloy wheels) with some 205 Pirelli tyres. The stick shift was way shorter than the one in the video - it barely fit in my hand.. I remember 5th gear was “di potenza,” not “di riposo.” I was ten years old, maybe 11. I remember the smell of the all black interiors as if it were yesterday. My gawd, I was the happiest kid on the block for a long time. Altri tempi. Those 115 HP sembravano come 200.
