i think cuz it’s a blend the downy messed with the human hair. try the boiling process with some silicon mix. on amazon they have synthetic wig spray and synthetic wig conditioner
I know this is months late, but if u use another synthetic wig, this is what I do: I really don’t like using fabric softener on my synthetic wigs. It adds a weird film bc it’s meant to be used to smooth and condition your clothes. After detangling my DRY wig, I use a plain soap, like Dr. Bronner’s liquid Castile soap or even dawn dish soap. You just need something stripping. After it’s completely clean and rinsed out, I shake it out and let it air dry 80% of the way. You can also just towel dry. Then blow it out with a paddle brush/wig brush. When I use the blow dryer, I use a concentrator and use it to follow behind the paddle brush. My wig was looking CRISPY before and when I did tht, it was so silky tht with any movement, the hair was flowing into my face. It was lowkey silky to a fault 😂 you can also curl it with a curling iron or wand if u do it while it’s damp (the same concept as we use when we dip our braids). I got THE BEST bombshell curls using tht method. I got the curling method from someone on yt but I don’t remember their name😭
Use fabric softener sheets to rub the shine off it will make it look more natural

Spray your wig with dry shampoo to dull the shine and it actually makes the hair look more human than synthetic.

Yes you can with a curling wand, rollers, or perm rods
You can sprinkle a little baby powder on the wig to dull the shine so it looks more natural.
