@Asa Steele If I remember in the manga, they had narration, and dialogue of them both using it. It was like "the man loved by the black sparks" and the "girl" Something( I forget the second half of Nobara's narration") and it had them both go Black Flash, in like huge letters. The anime was still pretty godly though.
@@punishedx I remember hearing somewhere that Gege didn't want a narrator in the anime which is why instead of the narrator explaining things it's typically a character explaining it. Like how Nobara explained Resonance instead of the narrator, even when they explained the backstory of the curses it was Fushiguro narrating it. I guess they couldn't think of a way to have a character narrate that part or they didn't want to put it over the music. I still think they should've said Black Flash to make more clear Nobara also used it.

He gave megumi important advice which adhered to his devotion and strive to become stronger andddd he didn’t really interact with nobara at all but hey Gojo is still extremely responsible for they’re strengths.

Honestly nobara using black flash was the highlight of the episode! It’s so beautiful to see people other than the main character use the op power ups. Mad props for that.

@@smrutishikharath3025 Black Flash is something most Jujustu Sorcerers can do. Its just that it happens in the moment. Todo didnt really do much besides explaining what it is and Yuji figured it out by himself.

Well they already talked about how fast he could run in the first or second episode. Then again he is also the naturally abnormally strong human who can handle the king of curses Sukuna shounen mc.

I like that they explain how Yuji (hypothetically) and Maki are so abnormally strong though, heavenly pacts/restrictions and all that shit. Jujutsu Kaisen's power system is one of the dopest ones in recent anime.

Yeah that's why I added 'hypothetically'. It does still remain as one of the popular theories about Yuji's strength. We'll have to wait for his parents to get revealed before we can confirm anything though.

Obviously I would prefer no CGI but it doesn't really look that bad so I'm fine with it, they're also more accurate in terms of how it looks in the manga which is a plus to me. Yeah it did hurt, they were souls brought into this world as curses, they didn't have a choice, their bond was real and they felt for eachother, I wanna see more of their story, maybe the older brother will turn around, who knows, good build up tbh.

BOOY I was waiting for this. Nobody talk to my girl Nobara, she did what she had to do, period. And Yuji is such a sweetheart. The fact that he agonises over his opponent’s emotions is just too pure. I love the trios dynamic honestly and the show really did a great job showing it.

the downside of no narrator, unfortunately. in the manga it was really clear because the narrator was describing how kugisaki felt moments before she did it.

Jesus this episode was the best one out of all them in my opinion. Yuji being his usual Goat self, and Nobara going off was a spectacular sight. And the curses dying was as sad as it was in the manga

Yo Sheera is ahead of the curve as always, so when Ya'll meet Choso and understand the weight behind their deaths it'll be clear why Yuuji doesn't feel good about killing these Cursed Womb paintings. If you think about it they weren't asked to be born the way they are.
jujutsu kaisen is really unique anime for me coz this is the only anime that the protagonist is such a ruthless and cunning, they don't even show emotion during the fight. and most of all, the heroes look more like villains and villains show emotion more often than heroes

So basically sukuna is like a friendship wrecker here 🥲Megumi and Yuji both learned that Sukuna’s fingers are now awakening and resonating which means the threat of sukuna is increasing.. a lot of people might die. Yuji and Megumi are both on the edge. Yuji doesn’t want Megumi to know that Megumi is somehow responsible too bc Yuji ate the finger back in ep 1 to save him and he also made the decision and asked Gojo to save Yuji from being executed.
Megumi also didn’t want Yuji to know what he learned bc Yuji was the one who ate the finger after all and it triggered Sukuna. So like these two are hiding from each other just cos they don’t want to blame each other and they want to save as much people as possible too 😭
Definitely felt that desperate plea at the end when the episode was ending. Such a fun show.

I'm glad to say that Nobara was my fav from the beginning. When she called out Mai's bs when talking to the girl in the broomstick (her name escapes me at the moment) during their battle in the tournament, it solidified her as my favourite character. So refreshing and real.

07:03 Same Sheera. I felt more bad for Eso and Kechizu than Junpei tbh, because they were forced by their environment to ally with the curses. Don’t get me wrong I felt bad seeing Junpei being bullied and becoming jaded, but I couldn’t bring myself to feel bad for him when Mahito transfigured him.
No clue why he thought that the guy that mutilated and killed multiple people without batting an eye would not do that to him too in the future.
As for what's next, there's a prequel film coming out this Winter is all goes according to schedule.
Man this was a journey. One of the best 1st seasons of an anime I've personally watched. Cant wait for that movie 🔥🔥🔥

after being caught up with the manga i literally cannot enjoy the 2v2 fight this episode. it just feels genuinely sad. on a physical level its an amazing spectacle, fantastic animation with godlike choreography and juicy ass soundtrack. but damn im just sad
