Besides the solar panels, get a DC - DC Renogy charger. It will charge it while your driving at night. I also have a small 800 watt gas generator for emergency backup. Fridge in my Van is on 24/7 in the spring to autumn times. Nice setup, (my wife said no to getting a trailer).

Does your refrigerator works 24/7 only on solar and this battery station? At day time solars are charging station while station is giving continuous power to fridge? And when sun goes down its running all on station? right? And how many watt or amps is your refrigerator?
Im also looking for similar setup.
    Im having 2x 600W with 800Wh
And 2x solar panels 200watt each
1 station is for 60w refrigerator and other station is for portable AC unit and for my general use for LEDs and vent fan and phone changing etc
Lets see how this works out

Yes, the fridge runs 24/7 on the Grecell T-500 and is being charged during sunlight hours. I'm not sure what the fridge is rated at, but I have seen it pull as much as 78 watts with the com pressor running. With (2) 100 watt flexible solar panels I have seen it pull no more that 116 watts at any given time. It's usually charged to about 98% at night and down to about 45 -50% by daylight. Hope this helps!!! Thanks so much for watching!!!

@@befreebensondiy to be more clear, you mean during day time it charge to 98% on solar while fridge is running continuously and from sunset to next morning battery level goes down to 45 or 50%? So it use about 48% to 53% all night or dark hours.
and how long it takes to charge from 10% to 95% on solar?
Thats more than enough honestly im happy with the results you got.
Your fridge is really big. Mine is smaller like semi trucks have, it takes 60watt. I also have a smaller portable camping AC, that is 1230BTU and use 6 amps which i assume its nothing for this power station can run that for 24/7 without any problem
And thanks for your help and info really appreciate it, i subscribed your channel and about to watch your split AC installation video, looks good!

I’m not sure how long it takes to get from 10%. It never got that low. I think it says about 8 hours to fully charge on 100 watts of solar coming in. We are really happy with it. Now we don’t have to worry about the food.

Hello, you mentioned trying to locate a solar package (in the other cargo trailer conversion) powerful enough to operate your mini split. Did you ever find a worthy option powerful enough to achieve that? I would love to know.

We haven't taken that on yet. However, we did rent a van that had a solar package that would work. That is on our "to do" list so stay tuned! Thanks for watching!
