The RX 7900 XTX performs a little better than the RTX 4080 Super in Evil West, but my RTX 4090 smokes both by a huge margin. Cant do anything about the typical Unreal Engine stutter unfortunately.
This game is so underrated
I personally think that this game isn't even mid. I played it only for 20 minutes and that was already enough for me because it felt so cheap. There are so many better games out there
@@Novskyy621 it does feel a bit like an indie game but for me it was the most fun game I've played in a bit. I played so many games over the years, at that point I'm hardly into most games and get bored of games rather quickly, yet I still liked this one for some reason, I think it's just easy to pick up, yet still challenging, and it's quite linear and has plenty of action which I like because I'm too impatient, yet it still offers a tiny bit of exploration in terms of hidden chests and stuff.
It was just the perfect game to keep me interested and it's fun.
Now that you owned both Nvidia and AMD cards for so long. Would you recommend the 7900 XTX to anyone over the 4090 as an "alternative high end card" for nearly half life the price? You uploaded a video about helldivers 2 just a few days ago because AMD updated their drivers. Did they really take that long to update their drivers for Helldivers 2 (several months)? I always look on the AMD cards and always have to remember that drivers are an issue and i would rather spend ~200€ more for good driver support and DLSS on top.
The RTX 4090 is really in a league of it's own, and the question comes down to this really. Do you want the best, or something high end? If you just want something high end the 7900 XTX is the card for you.
My goodness, for those who don’t know: Evil West is a fun romp. Like a PS2 era game with modern visuals.
And Bang is 100% right, the 4090 really does blow the other two cards out of the water in this. I have a buddy with the XTX and I myself have the 4090 and he absolutely encountered that wild UE stutter.
