1.14: Poor Tucker. I had that problem in my first day of my brand new days at secondary school too. A 'glitch' they told me, as I shouldn't have been there lol....it took quite a few days to sort out.
Bizzarely, the actor playing Mr Mitchell cropped up several years later in the John Cleese movie "CLOCKWISE", he had a cameo as a guy taking a piss against a tree!
Another John Cleese Film, (Monty Phython's "The Meaning of Life" ) -Part Two Growth & Learning, had another Grange Hill Actor Featured in a couple of close up scenes, Keith Macey who was the grange Hill football team goal Keeper and Credited in Series Two in "Gregson's Gang" one of many TV and Film appearances he did over the following 20 years.
Two of the girls in Tucker,s class who do not speak, are Lisa Maxwell and Jayne Tottman of the two girls Lisa still acts Jayne does not anymore and I wonder what Jayne Tottman does instead of acting she and Lisa Maxwell must both be pushing 60 in age now.
This series has aged like fine wine, gets sweeter each time you watch it.
I loved this series as a child it was was my centre of the universe :)
yep, trippy seeing it now
I remember those desks! Loved mine, now horrible plain white tables with no place to keep your stuff, poor kids today
Thinking of buying the whole first 8 series on dvd.
Jayne Tottman plays Marion Edwards she is sat next to Benny Green.
