You know, as much as I love Jim McCann's rendition of "Grace", I think Erin's is just as good. Erin, your Granda Bobby will be looking down on you from Heaven and smiling that broad grin of his every time you sing.
Not to take anything away from your singing talent Erin, twas beautiful, but to be the grand child of Bobby, God has blessed you in two wonderful ways. I dont know if Bobby could sing but he sure could inspire an entire nation of down trodden souls who at times thought they were fighting an un-winable battle.Without the truly heroic actions of Bobby and his nine comrades, there is absolutely no doubt in my mind, we would not have made the progress that we did.The British elite simply and cruelly do not loose a minute of sleep over the lose of one of their own. They, throughout their entire evil empire building years looked upon their young privates as expendable individuals and therefor their loss was sadly never an issue but once the hunger strikes happened they truly knew that they were never gonna bring about a military victory. What those 10 men did and achieved can not be over stated. So much so, many international academics and historians have nothing but respect and (for the lack of better words) admiration for the level of commitment and unwavering fight the Irish showed in the many many years of struggle. And so,to those 10 men, I proudly salute you.
@Mary Marshall or colleagues... but yes anyone with half a brain and an ounce of civility would have understood the meaning and let the spelling mistake pass.

My paternal grandfather was also imprisoned there for a while as a young man. My dad said he recalls as a young boy, meeting many of the Irish history makers of the rising that his dad would have over to the house in later years. These men and women were brave to the end, fighting with whatever they had to free Ireland.

@johnboland6509 our celtic blood is strong my brothers ❤💪😎
Tis quite the feat to be the granddaughter of one of the heroes of ireland, as well as to have a great voice like that. The heroes bloodine keeps flowing too. Also I am sure Bobby must be proud listening and watching.
Sad SF done very well out of it . Look at them now , there apart of globalists take over of all Ireland 🇮🇪
Not hero murdering scum bag but this girl can sing
Beautifully sang by a beautiful girl from a beautiful country 💚
Greetings from Scotland/Scotia there was a time in the 1st century when Ireland was called Scotia and now from Scotland we should unite, after all were cousins long before there was an Ireland or Scotland ❤❤❤❤
Rip Bobby. NEVER ever forgotten. Such a beautiful version what a lovely generation of the sands family. He is so proud of you without a doubt. True irish legend Bobby sands 👌♥️irish and proud 🇨🇮
I'm English and am embarrassed by how people were treated back then. Erin Sands has a beautiful voice and Bobby will definitely be singing along with her 🙂
@@philhanmer5185 Times have changed thank god. 👌
@@philhanmer5185 tragic that someone was so determined to change things through violence to the extent that they took their own life.
Thanks Damien. She is so sweet, lovely and adorable. I respect her grandfather so much. Greetings from Sardinia

You know, as much as I love Jim McCann's rendition of "Grace", I think Erin's is just as good. Erin, your Granda Bobby will be looking down on you from Heaven and smiling that broad grin of his every time you sing.
wonder who would dislike this they must of had tears in their eyes and missed the like 🇮🇪
Not to take anything away from your singing talent Erin, twas beautiful, but to be the grand child of Bobby, God has blessed you in two wonderful ways.
Absolutley 10 Brave men n all their collages.R.I.P.

@Mary Marshall or colleagues... but yes anyone with half a brain and an ounce of civility would have understood the meaning and let the spelling mistake pass.
Well said Sir.
I had to pause watching as I broke down sobbing. R.I.P Bobby Sands UTR 🇮🇪

Love from Liverpool ❤
Saddest place I've ever visited other than Verdun. A beautiful tribute to her grandfather, a true soul who will live on through her joy and irish spirit.
Beautifully done. ❤ ☘One of my favorite songs. I did the Kilmainham Gaol tour over a decade ago while in Ireland for a family reunion. Very heartbreaking. My paternal grandfather was also imprisoned there for a while as a young man. My dad said he recalls as a young boy, meeting many of the Irish history makers of the rising that his dad would have over to the house in later years. These men and women were brave to the end, fighting with whatever they had to free Ireland.
Great people for us today 🇨🇮🇨🇮🇨🇮
Great rendition TYRONE abu
Erin you sang this song beautiful and from your hearth, Great tribute to Grace and Joseph /Plunket and your Grandad Bobby too God Bless ,Best Wishes From Dublin.
Erin Sands you are an exceptional singer. I admire your natural voice. I am from Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦 I listen to you every morning before I go to work. God bless you!
Brilliant ! Bobby a man a leader a true inspiration to the Irish people ! I say he's proud up there ! 🇮🇪🙏
The best version. The simplicity of the singing, pacing and accompaniment convey the power of the words far more than more emotive renditions.
