Both of Alvarez’s home runs were exactly 461 feet.
as an astrfos fan, you feel for the rockies... just bad defence all over the field, if they had a better defence, the game would of definitely been closer.
This was a much better display of us hitting with RISP. Let's do more of that & string some W's together! 🤘

Well, here we are in Mexico! I was excited for the blast from RyMac, but alas all the same problems came afterwards. A comeback might've been helped a little if that outrageous call in the 5th was overturned, but that's how it goes sometimes. Still no win streak this year; Cal Quantrill had his worst outing so far. Just a disappointing loss. We're the "home" team again tomorrow, so again just hoping we can have fun being here! A unique experience for all these guys. More of a "review" for me tomorrow, but honestly it was just the late innings that show this game was worse than it really was, and that's all I can say. Go Rockies💜🇲🇽

Add an impact sensor to the bags.
I doubt it would catch a toe touch but maybe if it's possible
A simple shock sensor would probably get tripped if a 200 pound player ran past it at full speed - even if missing the bag. Maybe have the bag mounted on a metal plate and sense for the plate to *actually* shift on top of a metal bracket.

The camera work on those homeruns was bad, the camera men kept losing sight of the ball lmao

Astros started fifteen games or so below .500 in 2005 and went on to win their first pennant that year.
And that was when four teams qualified for the playoffs in each league instead of six, like today.
