So some of these are Wonderfil brand, where do we get them, never seen in Australia?
Hi Karen. Thank you so much for this video. I wanted to chime in on an additional benefit of the Wash Away Threads. I took 6 yards of fabric and some cotton batting and made a practice quilt. I stitched horizontal lines 6 inches apart and stitched up the sides. I use this to practice my quilting on my domestic and longarm machines. By using the wash away thread, I'm able to use this piece over and over. When the practice quilt is full, I simply spray the back, pull out the top threads, and throw it in the wash. This method saves money and doesn't create surplus in my sewing space. I also use it to warm up when I'm in the middle of a quilt and have had to walk away. I hope someone can use this idea. It has saved me a lot of money and resources! Thank you so much for your awesome videos!

I absolutely love Karen’s videos. She inspires me…. With her I know I can do it! Although I am “addicted” to watching sewing/quilting videos, Karen’s practical advice and directions are something I can sit and do right now.

I've been binge watching your videos the last few days after discovering your channel. My craft room has never been functional or organized in the 3 years we've been at this house (or the house before that, for that matter). I spent most of yesterday working on the room while continuing to binge watch your videos! It's finally coming together and it all makes sense! I love this , I am just planning a glow in the dark Halloween themed quilt for my daughter and son in law and the glow in the dark thread will be amazing for some of the quilting , I'm thinking of doing spider webs , thank you Karen for the great idea.

I used glow in the dark thread when quilting my granddaughters quilts. They love it. But I was warned that the thread can dissolve in hot water so we wash only in cold and do not iron.
I love watching your videos; I always learn something! Learning about products I had no idea exist is great; thank you! I think using the glow in the dark thread on a quilt with a special message or stars or something for a child would be really fun!

I love the huge range of Wonderfil threads and have been using them for years!
I wish Wonderil threads got more exposure (and Karen's vid will help). I piece with DecoBob exclusively. I use Iron and Fuse in my serger (upper and lower looper) to get my binding to stay put.
@@notesfromleisa-land I love DecoBob for piecing as well! It's also fine for sewing Cuddle fabric.

WOW!! I what a great video on thread! Personally, I struggle with sewing on binding. More often than not it comes out flappy. I can hardly wait to bind another project so I can use some fusible thread. I have heard of this thread before, but didn’t know why or how I would use it in a project. I took sewing in junior high back in the day when schools offered classes like that. But really got into and enjoying sewing 3 years ago. Everything I know today is self taught by watching videos like yours on RUclips. Your videos are amazing and I have learned so much from you. Thank you and Happy sewing!

Love, love, love your videos and your presentation style. The fusible thread will be a game changer for me!! Do you have a video on invisible thread and how to use and manage it? I have a large spool and it seems more trouble than it’s worth.
My girlfriend, I gave her my invisible thread spool she says it can be used in a serger/overlocker.
