There is a lot more going on when they lock down any area in China. Particularly important is logistics of food and household goods, which has immense plannjng behind it. An assessment is done on food requirements for all areas, and logistics is put in place to ensure these are being constantly replenished.

In Malaysia you'll be tested only if you show symptoms or in contact with covid positive individuals. These days they expect you to self test, yes buy your own test kit if you think you have come in contact with covid.
If the conspiracy theory of Fort Detrick is true. I believe this is an economic covert war against China. The Western Elite has decided to rely on mRNA vaccines to ensure their economic superiority. Those who don't get vaccinated will die off, and China will be forced to constantly lockdown and use protective measures as they don't have access to mRNA vaccines, well at least of yet. They may never. The poor countries around the world will also die off, giving the west access to their resources and advantage in colonization. They can offer vaccines for economic negotiation. Their greed and need for power won't allow China to overtake the west. I hope I am wrong and that a few people aren't that insane to cause the death of millions/billions for their egos. I have not been grocery shopping in several days, by western media standards, have I starved to death yet? It is important to note the implications of mandates on western nations is very different to China's, the cultural differences stand out, the governments intent stands out. In western countries it is all heavily politicized, people against vaccination or mandates are being segregated and heavily dehumanized, this has led to atrocities in years gone by in European and most colonial nations.

Thank you for putting out the video, as always. I just want to share that China's aiming for zero-case strategy does not imply perpetual lock downs, but includes speed-up vaccine production and vaccination and close monitoring (fast-turnaround broad-scale testing and assessment) of infections. The vaccinations will cut down the number of infections and the infection rate, should infections take place, while the close monitoring will allow for timely quarantine of an identified infection zone and enable quick re-opening of any cleared area. Ultimately, the idea is that with increased and maintained percentage of vaccinated population, the infections would be cut to close to zero cases on an on-going basis and thus minimizing, if not eliminating the need for quarantines all together. From what I can make of the quarantine strategy, I have liken it to casting a net to catch fish. As soon as a potential infection cluster is identified (a school of fish), a quarantine zone, perhaps twice if not three times of the infected cluster would be quarantined and tested; and based on the test results, the zone will be narrowed and opened up pending the test results. This requires rapid testing and turnaround of the results and big data monitoring. As far as opening the boarders with other countries, it really depends on the evolution of the virus and its infection rate in the other countries. Though one thing is for sure. Neither the people nor the government of China will tolerate or permit the scale of infections and deaths that other countries appeared to have resigned to.

In the US, there is a shortage of covid-19 test kits. In many places, you see long lines for covid-19 testing. So many covid cases going up now in the US and even the US CDC rules have changed to permit a shorter quarantine period.
The US CDC admits that it has faced public and private sector pressure to reduce quarantine time for economic reasons such as having necessary staffing for the airline industry.

China has yet to see Omicron variant detected in Xi'an, the city have imposed lockdown measure on Thursday 23rd when the city reported 52 new cases and accumulated 234 total cases, which effectively restrict flow of new cases coming from outside the city.

Go for the saliva test at least. It's cheap and readily available. It cost only about a dollar a box.

I’m in England where the COVID cases have gone through the roof, I traveled to Ireland and back no one checked me no one took my temperature,the only thing they asked is every one to wear a mask 😷, but you see the people here just don’t take COVID-19 serious, they ware their masks half off their faces , I think because are government don’t care the people don’t care, so I think in the west COVID-19 will keep going,because it’s big money business it’s making rich people more richer, I wish I was in Xi’an like I was when the first out break of COVID-19 I felt much more safer. In NSW we only want those with symptoms to get test for Covid.
Would be a lot easier and cheaper to isolate or “quarantining”those coming into Australia. And remain in isolation until they are clear.

Since February 2020, when it started in Wuhan, thence a few sporadic cities for periods not longer than 1 month, other wise, China citizen virtually are not affected by much restrictions to their lives. How you get your 3 years, it baffles me, as till todate it is 1 whole month short of 2 years since the starting of the pandemic , at Wuhan.
Mankind needs such collective exercise to prepare for big disasters!
