    For anyone that's had some exposure to a little theory and gets confused by the statement "There are no sharps or flats between the 6 and 7 chords." I believe that this is using shorthand for 7 since generally in bluegrass all 7 chords are played flat (7b). Some people online called it the mountain 7.
    I've seen the same type of shorthand for Irish traditional music where notes in a scale such as D are called by their letter names without bothering to mention the sharps for F and C. It's just easier to say that way.
