My parents still have some commercial foldout paper spheres and bells from the 1950s.
@@hypsyzygy506 I remember those, Mum and Dad had them in red and green. They did get tossed when they were very faded. They Christmas tree was in the front room used for special occasions and guests. It would get all the morning sun so lots of decorations would be faded on one side.
Very cool and it looks so easy to make! One thing I would do is use a paper clip for the final that way I can fold it back up for easier packing away to use next time.
You could also use Velcro

@@June-rb1nx that probably depends on how big you want your snowflakes. I thought these looked like lunch bag size, or pastry size, maybe 12”-15” tall x 6”-8”wide, but I’m guessing. Just try different sizes that are available to you. Good luck! 👍✌️

I think these bring a more adult look to a childhood craft. I could never see an adult without children having these in their home without lights

These are awesome! I am going to give this a try. Coincidentally I used a snowflake theme for decorating at work and it turned out really pretty and I must have done a decent job as people inquired as who did we "hire" to do it for us. Ha! And others just think it's pretty and festive. This takes it to the next level.

Really pretty for decorating windows and blank gaps on walls. The only thing is I'd glue a tongue depressor on one end after I expand the bags. Adding lights is an excellent idea. These are beautiful.

Instead of gluing the last bags together you could do some sort of temporary closure so that it could be folded up for storage. That way it won't get squished.
