It's the 2024 Gatornationals preview race aka "The Baby Gators" and during yet another annoying rain delay I was able to weasel my way up to the tower and talk with the longtime NHRA announcing legend, Alan Reinhart. He tells us about his Tucson, Arizona roots and how he got started in announcing, the project cars he's currently working on, and also his own accomplishments as a driver!

1974 pinto wagon, I have one right now, it a project car, and I’m planning on turning it into on top of a 4x4 chassis, and use it in the desert 🏜 California and on the street thanks BigAl California , thanks Alan andBobby..

Nice to get to know Allen,,good interview bobby, I got bummed out when rain came and my dad was racing,we raced Atco, Englishtown maple Grove in the 69,,80z years in stock 69 judge those were the days ,still love it all sportsman guys the most,thanks for the vids

Thanks for the great interview with Alan Reinhart Bobby. He is always very entertaining and informative on the microphone. His sense of humor kind of reminds me of the man Dan Fletcher when he talks. Dan ran at the local track for many years before moving to North Carolina. Now Dan has a better pit spot sorta speak closer to the action.
