  • I show you cars that are basically fully built and are being sold for the cost of a stock brand new mustang, Is it worth the cost? how does it perform? Bang for the buck? derp?

    I bought my 2015 GT 6-speed premium back in 2020, it came with Steeda lowering springs, sway bars and a tune. Right after I put 20" AM wheels and Nitto 555 G2's on it as well as a Ford Racing by Borla cat back on it and still love it to this day.

    I have the varex exhaust with kooks catless longtubes. It's badass. Almost quieter than stock with the valve closed and rips when open. No drone. You do have to modify the long tube connection point if you want full 3". It comes with the 2.25" neck down for factory connection.

    I would’ve pursued a 15/17 car but got better rebates on the 18 and the banks were more willing to work with the negative equity I had on my old car on an 18+ than a 15/17. Happy with my A10 Royal Crim 18 though.

    I think the difference is people can finance a brand new car all day with nothing down, but buying a built 2015 would probably require some cash down. I don’t know how strict banks are with used car loans these days, but I imagine they don’t want to put up the money for the whipped kit as well.

    • @406Steven
      @406Steven 6 лет назад

      Banks aren't going to be very excited about loaning more than NADA book value so if you aren't going to put any money down on the car then you're better off buying new. If you can put down some cash and borrow the rest (make sure to insure for modified value, don't try to skate by with cheap insurance or by claiming it's stock) I think you're better off buying a built car as long as it wasn't trashed.

    • @freakfiveoh
      @freakfiveoh 6 лет назад

      I think providing you have the cash, finding a car with mods you like that's built right is definitely the way to go, unless you really just want to do it all yourself. The trouble I have is most the cars I'm interested in are 10+ years old, so cash is pretty much the only option. Interest rates for personal loans are way too high. That being said, saving enough money for a fox body or an SN95 cobra isn't a huge deal.

This shows what’s in demand . Also I have 12 a 13and 15 on my lot and the 15 has been there for 2 weeks and heading back to auction this week and is stick with clean car fax and autocheck and not getting any bites compared to the 12 and 13 mustangsThat both have deposits on them and just got them Friday last week

Also had an aftermarket cat back with the one I wanted, another bonus. Added a procharger, which the guys at Lund, Alex being one of them, tuned. Figure Iam well under 40k with a way faster and cheaper car then a new 18....I have a few few other bells and whistles too that I added. I now have 673 whp and couldn't be happier with my choice. Mine is m/t, which is my preference and just not a fan of a/t....not fun for me.

      Your '13 still has an MT-82. An older version without the evolutionary improvements that were implemented over the years. Try an old T-5 or T-45 Mustang if you want a garbage transmission. Heck, I'm really not a fan of the Tremec TR-3650 in mine. The only MT-82 car I've driven was in a 2015 PP Mustang at Ford Performance Racing School and I was quite pleased with it and had no issues with the car the entire time I was there.

      FastTX FiveOh I feel the same about my 2014 stage 3 roush. The 2015 up mustang looks too much like a camaro to me. Plus I love the old school new school feel of my 2014. And I lov the feel of the solid live axel rear end. Makes it fun lol especially with my 700hp roush lol

      @@rexburn1955 That old school/new school look and feel is what swayed me. The 2015s had just arrived when I got mine so, I had a choice. The 11-14 cars are a LOT for the money, even when youre talking Roush cars and GT500s
      One year later, wheels, suspension, TVS supercharger and well, I've built my dream car. It hauls, it handles, it stops and it's sexy sitting still. All for less than the cost of a new 2018.

      I had a 13' gt pp and thought the same thing. But drive a 2015+ and you might overlook the looks. Now I have a 17' gt pp. It's a way better car. Rides/handles like modern sportscar.

      towedmycar was 👌 close to buying a 15+ after test driving an mt82 around for a bit. Then drove a 13 and was instantly sold on it. Since then lowered on koni shocks and bmr springs, whiteline watts link, 295 all 4 corners with 18x10 wheels, bmr sway bars and bmr control arms. Handles better than anything I’ve ever driven, and my daily is a Mini Cooper s lol! Besides the fact that my buddies old s550 was fbo tuned and after he totaled it he got a 13 with just a tune and the thing is faster than his last car ever was. 18+ or 13/14 is the way to go

    • @Sahadi420
      @Sahadi420 6 лет назад

      to me, the 05-14 Mustangs looked like someone from Buick designed the rear end. The Mustang grew up with the S550. I even love that it says "Mustang" ONE PLACE on the car, in the door sills. It says "FORD" ONE PLACE on it, and you can barely see it. Compare that to the S-197 that had "Mustang" written all over it like a kids Hot Wheels car.
      And from somebody that rips around corners FAAAAAR more then I drag the car, the IRS is theeeeee best.
      Sure, if you're gonna drag the hell outta your car, go for the S-197. If you want people, (including my mom, a Lexus owner LOL) to say, "wow, this is a nice damn Mustang" get a loaded out S550.

Just had it dyno'd friday and it's putting down 676 WHP and 553WTQ. I stole the car and it's a blast to drive.

    But just could not get used to 2015-17 Mustang headlights slanting back, they never ever slanted back in history of Mustang. So I don’t know, could not do it, If I’m spending money I wanted to look from every angle.

      @TheElectronMan 6 лет назад

      LOL that is the point! Ok to clarify I do not like the Gen 6 Front end at all, it' looks nothing like a Classic Mustang it looks more like something for a Ford Probe. TO even be more specific I love the early Gen 1's until 71 then same thing car got fat and lazy looking... Gen 2's are you kidding me by far the worst.. Gen 3's Lost their heritage looked nothing like a mustang looked more like high top sneaker.. Gen 4's were a swing but a miss to much Probe styling for me... Gen 5's feel in love the very first one I saw had the old classic lines and front end with 20th century styling the cat's meow the Mustang was back... Gen 6's awesome performance from the 5.0 with IDR suppression but again they are loosing their heritage and going to far away from the original lines.. Now don't get me wrong I will take a Mustang over another car well other than maybe a Gen 2..

      See for me its the opposite. Ever since 05 I hated the retro look. The new edge looked better. My favorite S197s are the 11-12s but theyre still not even close to the S550s. The S550s are much wider and look more like a modern sports car Ford would build but with just a bit of retro. I honestly feel next gen look should be pure modern. What would the mustang look like if it was created now? Dont let the past look hold it back.

  • @NissanTy

    I'm going to disagree with the 11-14 cars being the new 3v. the 13-14 body style is STILL the best looking mustang since the 67-69 boss. I'll never get rid of my 2013 for a fusion look alike. Regardless how shit the interior is I LOVE my 13
