The first time I heard this one, I thought I knew all the Nasserist-era songs from Mohammad Abd el Wahab and Abd el Halim Hazfez. Some of the translations are a bit off. At 13:45, they're not saying brother of Abd el Nasser; they're saying "Al Nasser," which means victorious.
apologies for that, i also mistranslated "تار" at the end which i just noticed now 💔 more will come soon hopefully since i have an entire catalogue of un-translated nasserist songs 🙏

@abas656thegodemperor9 a racist wouldn't make a difference anyways, and even then, arabic is part of the semetic family of languages, even the distant Yemeni branches, so even the Arabian peninsula is semetic, So my first point stands
At areas like 3:40 for example it doesn’t say I want my rights It says I want my revenge This comment has been brought to you by an Egyptian native speaker
Map mistakes in this video: 1-western Sahara wasn’t colonized by France it was actually Spain 2-you forgot to include Djibouti, Somalia and Mauritania 3-north Yemen wasn’t colonized by Britain it was actually its own nation
Arabism is just another logicless Ideology to add to the pile No wonder it didn't go anywhere They consider everyone who speaks Arabic is Arab ... Even we from tamurt n Dzayr People here speak 2 European languages 1 African one 1 Asian one Pure stupidity
@@AeliusCaesar No. If we considered everyone who spoke arabic to be arab, then most of Mali, Chad, and Niger would be included. Plus, countries that don't speak arabic are included because they're still arab nationality (somalia, comoros.)
@@ihab_gogoWell it was a Protectorate not a colony and so was Egypt. Most of the British holdings within the Arab world were Proctorate rather full blown colonies unlike the French and Italian holdings which were full blown Colonies. The difference between a Colony and a Proctorate is often quite blurry and often marginal but generally speaking in a Colony the is usually no representation for the locals and usually the local is often undermined or even abolished but in a Proctorate the local authority is usually is kept intact for example despite being under nominal British rule still kept its King even if he was a puppet also in Jordan and Iraq where both countries kept their Kings. Oman was the same, the country kept its Sultan even if he was a puppet and both Kuwait and Qatar kept their Sheikhs and Emirs. Both Hadhramout and Aden kept their Emirs and the Emirs of Hormuz(Modern UAE) still kept their titles. It is good to note that not all Frech holdings were Colonies. For example Algeria,.Tunisia and Lebaon were full blown Colonies but Morocco and Syria weren't. Morocco kept its Sultan and Syria was divided into three states; The State of Aleppo, The State of Damascus and The Janal Druze State.
@@abdibgm5748 Yes, I know this completely, but whatever the names, we all know that it is a form of occupation, looting of resources, or control of areas.
Why didn't you include UAE, Bahrain and Qatar? Adding South Sudan is a bit wierd ig And as some comments says you didn't include Mauritania, Somalia and Djibouti I can understand Comoros, they are in the Southern Hemisphere and the flagmap will have to shrink quite small for them to appear
UAE Bahrain and Qatar are shown on the full map, but not shown seprately since the song didn't mention them and since they were still under British protection during the time of the song, South Sudan was also Sudanese during the time of the song Somalia Djibouti and Mauritania weren't mentioned in the song and barely had any Pan-Arab aspirations and Somalia and Djibouti only have a minority Arab speaking population
@@Polavianus It is pretty much cuz of that yea, if Zanzibar was still a thing it'd probably be apart of the Arab World since it was historically settled by Arabs and arabized culturally, same way the comoros were

Opera studio Egypt (1960s)
@ I already found it its better to search up for Walid Mohamed to get that music
can you send me the link of the original video
At areas like 3:40 for example it doesn’t say
I want my rights
It says I want my revenge
This comment has been brought to you by an Egyptian native speaker
Sad for syria yemen iraq sudan Palestine Somalia 😢
Is there a way where I can get the lyrics? I appreciate the lyrics in the video, I just need the lyrics. Thanks
Why do you need the lyrics? It'll take a while for me to retype them all again
@@Ptoly I found them on someones facebook page lol. it took me a while but I eventually found it.
@@OberstRonda could you please send them here?
Please give the full map of Morocco
the song was made in 1960, morocco only got western sahara in 1974, the map is accurate for the date
@@Ghost-fc9hw Oh Okay thanks you
😇🤲🇧🇩❤️🇮🇶❤️🇸🇾❤🇵🇸🤲😇
Map mistakes in this video:
1-western Sahara wasn’t colonized by France it was actually Spain
2-you forgot to include Djibouti, Somalia and Mauritania
3-north Yemen wasn’t colonized by Britain it was actually its own nation
Arabism is just another logicless
Ideology to add to the pile
No wonder it didn't go anywhere
They consider everyone who speaks Arabic is Arab ...
Even we from tamurt n Dzayr
People here speak
2 European languages
1 African one
1 Asian one
Pure stupidity
@@AeliusCaesar No. If we considered everyone who spoke arabic to be arab, then most of Mali, Chad, and Niger would be included. Plus, countries that don't speak arabic are included because they're still arab nationality (somalia, comoros.)
@Dow_v97
No wonder this ideology failed
Did oman get colonized or no?
Yes it was colonized by Britain
Put the full Moroccan map including the Moroccan Sahara. We dont play with our Sahara. Thank you. I trust it was a mere mistake on your part. 🇲🇦👑
Arabs are my crown

Wtf is wrong with Algeria's Map
the lyrics are saying their stuggle against France is ongoing.
yo ptoly, where did u find this song?
ruclips.net/video/9zRIGoZowkI/видео.html
nasheed tariq al thar literally means anthem of the path to revenge, not chant the path of revenge
Why didn't you include UAE, Bahrain and Qatar?
Adding South Sudan is a bit wierd ig
And as some comments says you didn't include Mauritania, Somalia and Djibouti
I can understand Comoros, they are in the Southern Hemisphere and the flagmap will have to shrink quite small for them to appear
UAE Bahrain and Qatar are shown on the full map, but not shown seprately since the song didn't mention them and since they were still under British protection during the time of the song, South Sudan was also Sudanese during the time of the song
Somalia Djibouti and Mauritania weren't mentioned in the song and barely had any Pan-Arab aspirations and Somalia and Djibouti only have a minority Arab speaking population
@@Ptoly Now I wonder why the hell Somalia and Djibouti are in the Arab League
The reason I could find is historical ties with the Arabs and stuff
@@Polavianus It is pretty much cuz of that yea, if Zanzibar was still a thing it'd probably be apart of the Arab World since it was historically settled by Arabs and arabized culturally, same way the comoros were
Why did you put the david star in the moroccan flag at the start??
its just a different variant of the flag, morocco also uses the star of david
@@Ptoly we never used that, we use only the current one with five pointed star, the one you put ita used to mock moroccans saying that we are pro israel, even if thats not true
@@Ptoly anyway, can you keep uploading that songs? especially the long ones, its harder for you but its so good for us
@@moha_9011 perhaps, i put that i wont n the description because alot of my previous long-songs got not alot of views, plus most of the other long songs i have have another theme than sout el gamaheer, this one or el gael al saed. I'll probably do one more long song after 2-3 more non long videos
@@Ptoly Thankss, just know that we arabs love that songs😂
