one thing you could do, is set markers on your map as you play. "E" button on the map. then you can come back to the Dungeons/caves, poacher camps, skill fruit trees etc. at your leisure. thats what I've been doing while avoiding all the spoilers. takes me back to the good ol days where I had to make my own maps for games.
I agree with your take on not using user content at the start. I've been slowly uncovering the map and marking dungeons and effigies on it I find.
Bro you need to get the musket. It does 1000 damage that crossbow has about had the lick. Or if you do the caves and get schematics you can get upgraded versions of the crossbow that do more damage

Hey caz I know you want to play the game blind so I'm not going to tell you how to do it you can look that up or ask if you're interested but since you're trying to collect everything there is a way to capture the tower bosses even though you're technically not supposed to be able to I'm not saying capture them to use them do what you will with them but personally I captured them and just keep them in my box just to say I have them it is a glitch though so there's that the funny part is it keeps the trainers on the back of the Pal

I know lag can suck, not sure if you are playing on a server (more notorious for lag) or just single player. Also I assume palworld still has a large footprint being early access so the other software you have running might just be making your machine chug a bit. Not only that being early access it is always possible something broke with the last update to 1.3.0.
