Does he not realize that charizard is 4x weak against rock types? Both fire and flying are weak against rock. And charizard is both. Oddly enough, he isn't the only pixelmon RUclipsr who doesn't fully understand all the type matchups

If you do another one with gen two I recommend you pick Chikorita as your starter, as many people say it’s the hardest starter to choose out of every single starter in Pokémon
imagine if they did a manhunt where in Pixelmon Cody had to do a full journey (or however much of a full Pokemon journey one can do in the mod, I doubt there's any real Elite Four anywhere) while being hunted, and if he loses a single battle he loses the manhunt.
