Thank YOU for watching!
XOXO!

Wet n Wild Photo Focus Stick Foundation is incredible. It’s like velvet skin, blends perfectly, covers anything. I use it to cover my dark under eye circles, looks better than concealer.
Agree, love it!
Yep, just tried it this week. Shook, even on mature skin!
i love this one too but mine smells bad 😫 the twist up-down mechanism also broke
Loved that when I was younger. Not as good now with my dry textured skin. It is a really good stick though. Both of my daughters, in their mid 20’s love it!
They don’t even sell it over here
In fact, most of the brands I hear about, like ColourPop is a total mystery here
Elf has great brushes.
OK Zebrena, you are just timeless. I have been watching you for so many years and you never seem to be influenced by the changes and the way the beauty community seems to be swayed. I love your content and I love how you always feel true and genuine. Keep being you and doing what you do because you do it wonderfully. This makes you stand out as unique and I love that about you and your channel. 💕
I'd love to see a full face tutorial with each product being a fave from a different brand!
What a great idea!!!
Maybe have Z’a favs for one video then we could vote for our favorite products in each category for a tutorial Part 2 video. 🤷♀️
Love this idea! Thank you!
Love the Milani eye primer. Works great and for a great price!
Elf’s primer infused bronzers and blushes have never let me down!
Zabrena’s videos are never long enough 😔 Her videos brighten my day so I’m always so sad they are so short! But….I’ll take what I can get and they’re always quality videos with great info! 🥰
I agree, her videos are never long enough!
For real! I would have loved to hear her mascara faves. Though, with what I’ve heard from her, I think her faves for mascara are high end.
I forgot to mentione Covergirl, Kristen! :) I would recommend the Exhibitionist one from them! (and thank you all for your kind words!)
@@kristenlandon796 I love L’Oréal Telescopic. I’ve tried so many and just always go back to that. It gives me great length and separation. It doesn’t give volume but if I use the L’Oréal lash primer first and then L’Oréal telescopic I get amazing volume plus the length and separation!
I love Maybelline's Super Stay lip crayon; Lead the Way is my go-to!
I completely agree with your picks for the first half of the video, but I wanted to share my picks for some of the brands mentioned in the second half:
Milani- Peach Glass Skin Primer (this is my all time favorite primer! It literally makes your skin look like glass, and it comes through every foundation I've tried it with, no matter the coverage level (which is something I've never experienced with any other primer). Also, it dries down! It does not stay dewy or sticky so I think oily skinned people would really enjoy this too. I'm scared they're going to discontinue it however because they only sell it on their website for some reason. I think it would do super well if they put this product in stores considering makeup trends atm
-Flower Beauty- highlighters
-Almay- Healthy Hue blushes
-L.A. Girl- HD Coverage Foundation (it's SUPER dewy, so be warned)
-L.A. Colors- (I figured I'd throw it in since I was just talking about their sister company) concealer, lip liners, liquid blushes
elf- putty blushes & bronzers, brow lift, lip oils
Pixi- Glow-y Gossamer Duos
Believe Beauty- foundation
SheGlam- liquid bronzer and blushes
No 7- pressed powder (the only powder in the world that I can actually put under my eyes)
AOA- Paw Paw sponges
Profusion liquid blushes, eyeshadow, foundation, love it !
I was gonna comment that she missed Profusion. Their eyeshadow primer is my favorite and the 10 pan palettes are really good too. Still need to try the liquid blush which look so good.
Unfortunately my local Walmart has very very limited Profusion. I would LOVE to try their eye shadow primer! My current favorite is Ulta’s brand. Is it comparable?
@@ColorMeShell my walmart doesn't have very much profusion either.. mostly just eyeshadow palettes which I love. They're great quality.. but I'd love to try other things from them too. Btw, I use and love the ulta brand eye primer also. I have a few different ones. Lol
@@ivoryandgold88 Are you talking about the Profusion pigment base eyeshadow primer in the squeezy tube? Just wondered cause I just ordered it from Walmart but I hadn’t heard anything about it. It’s certainly affordable.
No 7’s pressed powders are SO good and the silver compacts are beautiful !
Using my husband's account....I totally agree with you!!!
The Essence "Out in the Wild" palette is even better than the Dancing Greens palette and I don't hear anyone talking about it! It is SO GOOD!
I love a lot of elf products these days both makeup and skin care. From hard candy I absolutely love the glamaflouge foundation one of my holy grails from the drugstore 😊
I love these types of videos, both affordable and high end, even affordable brands are getting up there in price.
For me, Essence Mascara is Holy Grail. I love Cover Girl BB Cream Foundation. I wear Maybelline Born With It lipstick almost everyday. ColourPop Going Coconuts is my everyday eyeshadow palette.
Makeup Revolution is at Walmart, and they have great palettes. Physicians Formula has butter bronzer (cult favorite) and their lip glosses are great too. I don't use any Covergirl stuff, but I saw they weren't on the list. Also... NYX was missing. Maybe a part 2? Lol 😁
Neutrogena and Believe Beauty are missing too.
Really?? My Walmart or even the four others closest to me doesn't carry Makeup Revolution!!!😭😭
I agree! Physicians Formula bronzer is the holy grail! And I noticed NYX was missing as well! Definitely a part 2🤞🏻🤞🏻??
I have liked CoverGirl foundations in the past.
I personally love the profusion pallettes whether for the face or the eyes. They are affordable pigmentation is great and they last all day on me. I was so happy when I noticed my Walmart expanded their shelf space and made them a permanent brand. Also Elf makes some really great brushes and they are affordable. Maybelline's lifter glosses are a go to gloss for me. Drugstore makeup has come a long way in quality. I just love makeup 💜❤️ could talk about it all day lol
Wet and Wild tinted hydrator is amazing! If you like more coverage the Photofocus foundation is really good! I like the dewy version. I recently got the browsessive tinted brow gel. I love it for a quick natural brow. It’s not super pigmented but that makes it easy to work with. It gives a nice hold. Also like the contour stick and setting sprays! And you can’t beat the price!!! ( did not like wet and wild eyeshadow sticks at all smeared everywhere!)
Maybelline fast sculpt brow gel is very pigmented and has a super strong hold. It’s good but for myself who doesn’t have a lot of brow hair I have to be really careful with it. Great lipsticks love the matte ink crayons!!!
Catrice setting sprays are some of my favorites!!!
Colourpop so many great products! Love the pretty fresh concealer and foundations! Love all of their eyeshadow pallets! Brow pen! Lippies! Love everything I’ve ever tried!
Still have yet to try the contour stick, but, LOVE the Photofocus! ESP since I have oily skin. OH! AND, I want to try the Pretty Fresh line… thx for ur feedback 🙏🏻
@@ColorMeShell I just grabbed the Waldo shade of the contour stick. It’s a good tone and it blended out really nicely!
@@ColorMeShell you’re so welcome! I get a lot of my recommendations from Emily Noel as well as Zagreb’s. I have dry mature skin for reference.
I would just like to shout out LA Girl for ALSO being the ONLY brand (maybe only drugstore brand but as far as my research showed, I think legit the ONLY brand) to have a PURE WHITE liquid foundation. I am a cosplayer and I had been messing around with cream stage makeups, facepaints, etc, and could not find ANYTHING I could make stay on my skin for a cosplay I was doing and then I went "Duh! I know how to set regular foundation so that it is longwearing--I wonder if any brands have just PURE WHITE" and LA Girl was the only one and let me tell you, it STAYED! If you set it and treat it just like any other regular foundation, it WORKS!
I was so pleased. First time back at a comic convention since 2020, and LA Girl saved my cosplay. Very pleased.
I’m surprised nothing from NYX was mentioned. For me it’s Essence Lash Princess Water Proof Mascara…
Agreed. I think they do really well with lip products, especially the glosses.
I would absolutely agree with you, Rhonda!
I love the Wet N Wild foundation! I also love the Rimmel eyeliner. I recently purchased some Sheglam eyeshadow and foundation balm and quite impressed with both.
Did you forget CoverGirl? You used to love their 3 in one Foundation.
I did! They discontinued that foundation, sadly :( I wanted to mention them for mascaras, most I have tried have been great!
No7 pressed powder is perfect for mature skin
I just have to add the Wet n Wild does a fantastic job on complexion products! The tinted hydrator is the only "foundation" type product I have worn since trying it for the first time.... it is fantastic. As well as the Incognito concealer. I find myself continuing to reach for this concealer, especially to cover melasma spots on my face. And of course, the Photo Focus foundations, both the original and dewy are amazing as well!!
Absolutely love the tinted hydrator and I like the Photofocus dewy foundation. But the tinted hydrator is the first foundation that I have used up in years!
@@tiffanysadlertlc I cannot believe how good my skin looks with the tinted hydrator! I tried wearing a foundation the other day, and I ended up taking it off and wearing the hydrator instead!
@@Patti-1962 Yessss! I have put other foundations on and been like dang I should have gone with my tinted hydrator!
It’s so skin like! I wish they would make a spf version but it might mess with the formula
Great products AND they're cruelty-free! ❤
What about a review of products from ULTA's private label brand?
Maybelline fit me loose powder. I'm currently working through some of my other powders but.. I can't wait until I can get the fit me back in the rotation.
Such a ggrreatt video, Zabrena!!! I love this type of video! There were a ton of those that I agree 💯 on. Profusion's eye palettes are really great! They are inexpensive too. Have a wonderful weekend!! Take care. 🥰
I love Profusion foundation!! hands down I keep buying it over and over again!!
Cover girl is a classic drugstore brand (and cruelty free!) that you didn’t mention. I also didn’t see a favorite/best brand for mascara. That’s pretty much the only makeup I wear these days, so I’m curious what your favorite is.
I'm sure Zabrena has her favorite. But I hope you don't mind me interjecting... Maybelline all the way! Sky High, Falsies Lash Lift, Lash Discovery to name a few.
I love Covergirl-- been using them for 41 years. Their Smoothers BB cream is my holy grail. Their eyeshadows are now buttery soft, pigmented, blend easily and last, and the mascaras will not budge. So much quality for so little. Plus, I won't buy a product if it isn't cruelty-free and CG is Leaping Bunny cruelty-free! ❤
I forgot to mention them! My favorite mascara is actually Covergirl, highly recommend the Exhibitionist waterproof one!
Milani eyeshadow primer, of course. And Essence mascaras! I love the princess, but I started using the Double Trouble (per Emily Noel) and it's so good I already have a backup in my stash.
Love colourpop supershocks! They *finally* brought back the Supershock bronzers!! I hope they don’t get rid of them again.
Edit: I’m surprised you didn’t mention flower beauty’s blush bombs! Those are amazing quality and one go to I reach for if I have a 16hr day and need my blush to not fade.
I wear contacts, essence extreme lasting waterproof eyeliner is the best
Neutrogena serum foundation & serum primer, and the entire L’Oréal age perfect line.
Colourpop has the best eyeshadow pallettes for the price and their super shock shadows, are my HG everyday sparkle. I have SEVERAL of them including the very first one I ever bought (*frog* still a fav) and I've never had one dry up on me like I've heard others say. Loveee CP!
Almay makes the best blush at the drug store. They have a hard pressed beautiful nude and cool pink.
Maybelline Fit Me matte foundation lasts forever, looks like skin, and I have dry skin and it doesn't dry me out! Also the Wet n Wild (I think 🤔) Hyper Easy liquid eyeliner is BOMB.
My best drugstore makeup…
Elf- brow wow, the best
La girl- color corrector cream in mint, tackles redness the best, under foundation.
Revlon- nail polish in revlon red, lipstick in naughty plum- the perfect dark nude
No.7- lift and laminate pressed powder- translucent, never becomes cakey
Covergirl- clean matte pressed powder, I use classic ivory, great under eye coverage all day
Rimmel- bronzer
Maybelline- expert wear- eyeshadow quad in mocha motion
Those are some of my all-time favorite drugstore make up. And I only usually stick to Drug Store brands because of affordability.
Maybelline fit me foundation and blush are as good as any high end brand I've tried. Milani eyebrow pencil.
Thanks for the video!!! Especially the eye pencils… I’m always looking for amazing colors at an affordable price!!
I miss doing my makeup. There are so many things I want to try but with a new baby I just don't have the time.
my daughter has red hair and blue eyes and is into makeup now, we are struggling to find what colors will work for her. I have spent so much money on foundations only for the porcelain to be too dark! I found Hard Candy Glamofauge foundation in ivory and it’s almost white! Lol well it matched my girls skin. I found that L’Oréal makes an auburn mascara and it looks great on her. Other than those 2 things we are unsure of lipstick colors, blush and eyeshadow. If you can do a video for red hair girls and what colors would work for them I know would be helpful to a lot of people! Thank you! 😊
I love L A Girl Eyebrow Pencil, it's so great and it stays put.
WnW highlighters!
Hey Zabrena! Love this video, most of those drugstore brands are my jam. Rimmel does a great powder blush, I think their Maxi Blush is better than anything put out by Revlon, CoverGirl or Physicians Formula, with more depth of color but it's a few dollars cheaper than any of the others and it has no fragrance. And Almay's Age Essentials Lip Treatment has a moisturizing core, SPF 30, and a nice balmy type of sheen. It's also twice as much product as any other balm in stick form. A staple for me! Love your look today too! Thanks for your energy!
I'd definitely suggest No7 Stay Perfect foundation, its been my go to for years x
What a great video!
My absolute favorites from 3 drugstore brands are
Physician's Formula...Butter Bronzer in the color Bronzer or Sun-Kissed (they are both close to each other)
L'Oreal.. original formula Lash Paradise
Revlon ...Colorstay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick in Nude. It is the perfect color for EVERYONE no matter how light or dark your skin color is. I have used this for close to 25 years! I alter it slightly based on which Colorstay lipliner I choose for the day. It lasts ALL day long 12-18 hours even through 1 million puppy kisses!
The. N7 paider the 1 in the silver compact. My daughter used it at a wedding. And. It's a finishing. Pauder. Helped her makeup. Last. And. It was so hit the eeing was out side
I have 2 loves from Physicians Formula that I starting using a few months ago, The Healthy Foundation (it's getting harder find) and the Gentle Cover Conceal Stick in Yellow (this is more of a corrector). The yellow works better for me for dark circles, I have light skin, I use a little on the dark areas, then use a concealer on top. Thanks for another great video!!!!
Nude crème is amazing!! I also love the shade Pretty Natural 🙂 those are like the only 2 lipsticks I wear anymore! They’re gorgeous!
Great video! I love the Catrice True Skin foundation with the matching primer! It’s great for my very oily skin! Blends out beautifully, very light weight and long lasting! 😀
Hi Kim. Where did you find the primer? I went to there website & couldn't find one called True Skin primer? I'd love to know!
I bought the green eyeshadow palette from essence,i live in india though i ordered a bunch of essence products,i must say i am shook my the pigmentation! THANKS FOR THE RECOMMENDATION ZABRENAA SUCH A PURE SOUL YOU ARE,loved your video as always❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hi, where did you order essence makeup from? I'm in India too!
@@buwwefly94 hey! I ordered a bunch of products from different brands directly from sephora/ulta website 💕,but i had to pay shipping-recently 4th july sale was there so products were at heavy discounts
I've never seen anyone else mention the Almay eyeshadows. The trio with the bronze has been my go-to travel palette for years!
Etude Makes really good eyebrow Pencils… Not too creamy not too hard, unique colors… They also have lip stain products that are awesome!
I love the putty blush in elf, & also there skincare is awesome. As always I loved your video. Take care & stay safe.
I love milani lipsticks too! And their concealer + foundation.
💯 correct on No.7 they do face products very well...in particular their powders. I would add their Lift & Illuminate pressed powder. BEAUTIFUL pressed setting powder. So smoothing, specially setting concealer under the eyes ...it's not finicky at all. Never had issues with that powder, no matter what concealer I'm setting. It is matte...but it's a soft matte. Very complimentary for mature skin.
I love that powder too! It keeps some radiance without fully mattifying. And it’s a dupe for Charlotte Tilbury’s powder. Seriously, almost the same packaging too except no. 7 is silver. 😅
Zabrena has tried it before but the powder didn’t do well for longevity all over her face, but it held up in the under eye area well.
The L'oreal foundation is my new favorite - I love how light it is and provides just the right amount of coverage. I would also mention the LA Girl's eyeliners - they are amazing!!!
Zabrena, it's all because of you and your excellent personality that I went on a hunt to find some of the Essence pallets, I especially love your favourite I Like To Mauve It, Mauve It. They're so pigmented, and can be used for almost any occasion. ‼️ We can get lots of snow here, and I love to wear Ice Ice Baby on the snowy days 😂
You are the best. Fabulous video. So helpful. God bless you and your precious family.
Joah's Make her Gel-ous eyeliner is the best!
Wet N Wild blush sticks. Maybelline Lifter Gloss. L’Oréal Amber Light Eye Shadow. Elf Putty Bronzer. Almay lipsticks. Flower Beauty liquid bronzer and Desert Lights palette. Essence Nude Highlighter - try this lightly as a finishing powder in lieu of Hourglass. Revlon lipsticks.
I agree with you about the Wet ‘n wild eyeshadows!!! I have one that I use everyday but still love my Anastasia palette for dress up and going out. Would love to try the flower beauty lipstick you mentioned. I find that to be the hardest makeup product to buy!!! So I love a good recommendation!!! Thank you!!!
Colour Pop I have so much that I could do a full face and then some. The ultra glitter sss turn a dull eyeshadow look into glitter heaven. Also Essence and nyx I like the colored eyeliners. I’m obsessed with olive green eyeliner lately.
I live Essence's eye liners (pencil), great colours, goes on smoothly and great price.
I also love Colorpop, I wish it was sold in store in the UK; the highlighter mentioned is truly stunning!! Like: wow; I love their eyeshadows too.
I am now in love with Catrice's baked bronzer; quite a close dupe to BB's shimmery bronzer
No 7 has a great shimmer brick, again a close dupe to BB's one
love drugstore makeup Thanks Gorgeous
I haven't tried everything, but my favs:
CP - Super Shocks, eyeshadows, Party Proof primer (similar to Fenti's), metallic eyeliner, an lip oils
NYX - lip liners, glitter glue/primer
LA Girl - Shockwave eyeliners
Milani - eyeshadow primer (drier finish), flower powder blushes (esp Romantic Rose), face mists (very fine mist).
Elf - duo blushes
Essence - 6 pan eyeshadow quads, blushes, and contour duos (I only use the contour shade tho).
Maybelline - City Bronzer
L'Oreal - Infallible powder bronzer (for in-btwn and darker shades than Maybelline's)
Revolution Beauty Eyeshadow palettes are another personal favorite: especially if you are going to Ulta for Colorpop.
I haven’t seen your videos come up in my feed in such a long time! I guess that’s why I need to turn on the bell haha
Great video! Such a good idea to name the best of each drugstore brand. You should deffo do more volumes of this xx
I used to love love love Almay Mascara....but now I am still using Loreal Voluminous.
Thank you for doing this type of video it was very helpful and I am glad you included all types of products that can do most of the face.
Profusion cosmetics are the best drugstore eyeshadows on my opinion. So affordable too
Love the Wet 'n Wild Contour sticks and the Flower Beauty Cream blushes!
Thought for sure say L’Oréal mascara and Milani baked blushes!!
Milani lipsticks are my ultimate fave!! They really are underrated lol
Milani was a surprise! Thought for sure it would be their eyeshadow primer
Whenever I want to buy something I watch your videos first, whatever I bought on your recommendation is outstanding !!low price!!! Stays long , perfect
I love elps primer too because they do make good primer I totally agree with you Sabrina
OMG love this. Thank you so much. Just got rid of all my outdated make up and need to remember I can get good ones for a bargain
I disagree just slightly on LA Girl. The cream products are great, it's true. But if you haven't tried their recent eyeshadow launches you're REALLY missing out. I just got one of their 9 pan palettes called Downplay and it's absolutely incredible. The shimmer shades are gorgeous and creamy (the foiled silvery taupe shade in particular is just absolutely stunning), the mattes are very pigmented and blend like a dream. Also picked up the green Hey Hey Vacay pallette and I'm just as impressed. Both the neutrals and the colors are beautiful and so easy to work with. Their formulas are just SO GOOD. I don't know what changed but their eyeshadows are really competing way above their price range now.
Oh I so agree Dani! I've been touting those since they lauch the first ones about 4 years ago! So so good!
I know you didn’t mention Shop Miss A but their AOA Bb Cream is gorgeous on the skin, it looks so good
* and its only a dollar
I agree with you about the elf putty face primer. I don't like the way my skin looks at all while using it.
nooo the putty eye primer and under eye primer is discontinued from elf
Hi Zabrena. Another informative video with your usual charm and loving smile! Thank you! I wanted to submit that the Essence Princess mascaras are wonderful. I just used one up and decided to try Maybelline's Sky High and a private label high-end and neither one stood up to Essence. I also really like the tubing mascara from Loreal in the ended red and white tube. Much easier to remove without losing precious lashes. Been a favorite for a decade or more.
I really love Maybelline's mascaras. I started as a kid with the pink and green tube - probably dating myself there - haha! Their Lash Discovery has tiny bristles to get every lash - great for separation and definition. I will then layer with a volumizing mascara if I want more drama. But the Lash Discovery has been a favorite of mine for years!
Nude creme from Milani and Spiced Petal from Flower Beauty are my all time faves!
Hello Zabrena 😊 Great list of makeup 👍👍💙💙💙
I love all the colors wet n wild has, and they're much cheaper than other brands. Best of all, they're cruelty-free!
I love the video Zabrena, I like elf,L.A. Colors,W&W.
I would like to try others you mention.
Have a bless weekend.
Essence banana powder cant live without it I put it under my eyes, essence mascaras, blushes are good too but not very long lasting, essence glossy lip glosses very good, most concealers in essence are almost all good, wet n wild dewy foundation is also good catrices marcaras also good j cats under eye shea butter eye primer so good to my under eyes before make up does good to my wrinkles. Is nyx drugstore? They micro brow pencil is better than anastasia ones. These are some that came to my mind. 😊
i like the dangerous lengths mascara from milani and the catrice true skin concealer i love but they made a new one 🙄Thanks Zabrena 🥰
Flower Beauty has great setting spray. Fine mist and no horrible smell I find in most higher-priced sprays.
I rediscovered the covergirl matte bb cream earlier this year. GREAT for my super oily skin. Best part? It’s only $2.48 on Amazon. That’s why I decided to buy it. 🤣
No Profusion Cosmetics? I've learned that brand from you and finally bought an eyeshadow palette last year. I used it earlier and I was surprised at the level of pigmentation. Earlier, I was attempting to smudge of it out of my eye but it didn't move at all and there were transfers on my fingers.
Revlon Color Stay foundation is a ride or die for me. I live on the Gulf Coast and have oily skin and it can survive anything. It is lightweight but pigmented. I have the original, full coverage, and new light coverage varieties and they out perform some of the high end brands I've tried.
I also love the Physicians Formula eyeshadows. I have the larger day and night palettes they did and they are amazing. Blend perfectly, stay on the lids no matter the weather, and are almost a cream to powder formula. They remind me of ColourPop Super Shocks.
For those of us in the uk trying to find the old no 7 bronzer which our beautiful Zabrena recommended i have heard it will be returning to boots stores soon so make sure to save some pennies ♥
Had to screenshot the description section because I love your reviews but every time I walk into ULTA or target my mind goes blank 🤣😅😅💞💞
LOL! This is me in the grocery store - haha!
Maybelline great lash mascara ( not the waterproof version), Almay intense I color, ELF brow pencil, LOreal brow pencil, Revlon eyeshadow palettes. Wet and Wild blush. Those are pretty much my go to brands. I’m still undecided about foundation. Zabrina, I love your videos. I’m a red head and I’ve learned so much. Thank you
Just found your channel! God Bless You! Thank you for your time and for sharing! Going to head on over to look at your lash line. Which ones are you wearing please?
great video! I was expecting to see some from revolution
My favorite wet n wild product is the eyeshadow single in brulee but I've not been able to find it anywhere except Amazon
