I am an actor and content creator with Hollywood credits including roles on Lucifer (Netflix), Starlight Christmas (Hallmark), JT Leroy (Universal Studios), etc. In this channel, I offer insight to Kpop performances using my 10+ years of training in dance, acting, singing and overall performance. In dance, my forte are contemporary and musicals and have done most of my performances in theatre. The fact: ENHYPEN is literally one of the strongest dance group in Kpop.
For me hybe boy group have a strongest dance in kpop and they all proved to have a high level of synchronization.
I think more like "this is Hybe standard for dance performance"

I'm happy that there's a lot of praises here for Sunghoon. Since people rarely talk about how sunghoon is one of the most versatile dancer from enhypen. He knows contemporary, ballet, can do hiphop and everything as long as he put his mind to it.
Sunghoon really amazed me. Not just his solo performance but in Tamed-dashed the same steps had different feel to how he did previously. His moves have become sharper.
I love Ni-Ki's solo performance with red strings because it's artistic and beautiful
Finally Sunghoon got his moment to be appreciated in Enhypen's performance... I am so happy for him he is such a great dancer.

Ni-ki is a professional dancer and it shows, all those years that he spent dancing in Japan!! Also, Sunghoon,omg his fluidity and elegance, 👏 I loved their performances, they always impress!
Sunghoon was absolutely incredible in this whole performance, so good to watch. I appreciate you pointing out the complexities of the dance, it makes me realise how awesome enhypen are as a group.

I love your detailed explanation about Sunghoon's contemporary dance. How he keeps his balance, preparation to jump, making turn like Axel jump, etc. Also, how he must show emotional aspect of the dance.
Sunghoon's solo dance under red dance is legendary dance.
'His a national skater...balancing is priority' 🤭 actually I don't want to think too much when I see his dancing.. so just make that as the main reason😅
@@hayila164 Balancing in figure skating is different when you are performing contemporary dance.You need a lot of control on your body to properly execute the dance

NI-KI is the boy who has very high motor nerves!! For example, he runs so fast on sprints!!!
I saw he has often tried to do some acrobatics like somersault or back flip in his practice room on his dance school (his house)!
That's why he can do acrobatics bravely, but it's very beautiful if his dance adds to the choreo!
NI-KI's intro dance with red strings is very ephemeral and so beautiful!!
Sunghoon's move is so elegant
Heeseung's potential is infinite, he can do anything and will slay everytime
I think Ni-ki detached his side of the thread when he put his second hand over the ball (if you pay attention, you can see the white cord flying near his hand) and then Sunoo removes his side right when you noticed it
Sunghoon blew me away, it was gorgeous. 👏👏
The string thing looks like it comes from Niki's right hand across his back and into his left hand, attaches to the ball then to Sunoos right hand, across his back and finally ends at his left hand. It looks like when they're done spinning they let go of the string from the hand that isn't holding the ball, which eases the tension in the string and then they quickly swap hands for a second that breaks the string off the ball just before they go down for Jungwon to kick it. I think. Also magic.
I also also the flick move, but I think I just like the way all their hair flips at the same time. 😅

*Yes Ni-ki was really great at this performance and proved himself as 4th gen main dancer. But let’s not forget the other members too. Huge appreciation to Hee, Jay, Jake, Sunoo, Sunghoon and Jungwon too. They really did great too despite them not being main dancers. They made the performance so much better and the synchronization was* 🔥
I work with dancers and performers, Their performance was fun, but I'm always interested in the high level of Ni-Ki. As you already know, every good dancer has a solid foundation. You need to fix the axis of the head. Ni-Ki shows this most prominently. He is a really good dancer with a very high level. I want to see his contemporary dance someday.

I think sunoo and ni-ki were holding both ends of the string. You can see ni-ki pulling the string when the ball was spinning. :)

Jeff's got the knack of explaining so well what I notice and feel unconsciously but would have a hard time translating into coherent words :-) I feel that Sunghoon has improved sooo much and of course, the smart buggers creating those amazing choreos are taking full advantage of his ice skating skills. But they're all fantastic and despite the fact that of course, BTS can't be replaced, Enhypen are taking the torch with no probs whatsoever.
I've been saying recently that enhypen is what is making kpop exciting for me again, and I've been watching your channel for a long time so watching as you get really excited to talk about their dancing reassures me that others feel the same way 😊

Honestly Heeseung can do anything and I love the amount of praise he's getting from his mama solo despite being the main vocalist. Ace indeed. Ill never get over these guys, and I'm so glad you are continuously impressed by them

I think that Ni-ki and Sunoo are holding the string with their opposite hand, and when Jungwon is about to kick it, they loosen their grip on it. That's at least what I was able to see from watching it zoomed in and slowmo
like almost all the dancer who react to enhypen dance, and will say "i should practice more, they on another level, i don't think im the dance teacher/performer now omg"
i notice the backup dancer doing the dance break, when in this form ^ and i felt bad to them cuz i saw them stick to the walllllllllllll xD

You know its bad when one person was dragging the collab stage and everyone, I mean everyone came to heeseung's defense saying that he did amazing and had the best part!!! Enhypen is truly a force to not be messed with, they went viral in korea for the solos and group performances, they are so talented they made people get into kpop, lots of people to start buying albums/merch, I respect everyone's opinion but let's be real enhypen brings so much flavour to kpop and 4th gen. Don't get me wrong!!! I say lots of 4th gen are super unique and talented but enhypen....enhypen is gonna go really big places

15:25 For the stringed football trick, I think Niki and Sunoo were holding the string with their other hand. For instance, from Sunoo’s POV, he holds the football with his right hand. The string coming out of that goes through his middle and ring finger, the string goes behind him and his left hand holds the rest. And when it’s time for Jungwon to kick it, Niki and Sunoo drop the string from their other hands. Hopefully that made sense?
This was a HARD and RISKY thing because the string could’ve easily gotten tangled or stuck on their costumes if they didn’t move correctly.

just for information!! the dancebreak part (with the ball) that we saw through online streaming was actually pre-recorded. ofc they also performed the dancebreak live, but without the ball until the part where riki and sunoo spinned the ball. so the whole performance we saw online was intro (live), drunk-dazed (live), sunghoon's "blood shower" (pre-recorded), 1st verse of tamed-dashed (live), first part of dancebreak (pre-recorded), rest of the performance (live)

You can tell if the “professional” dancer’s reaction notices the talents of HEESEUNG. Hee was #1 trainee at Bighit for two years till he debuted. All the pros, staff, instructors, even Bang PD himself at BigHit deemed HEESEUNG as #1. And all these members of Enhypen were there at Bighit as well. So these “pro dancers” better recognize the true versatile talents of Hee. One way to weed out a real pro dancer’s reaction vs ones praising a member with a high followers for “likes” on their reaction video. Hope they stay true to the art of dancing they are representing as “professional dancers”

I was also stressed out by the football!! In school there used to be these running challenges with balls or sticks that one needed to pass to the next after completing the course, and this passing of a stick stressed me out so much. I could run really good, but the sticks. I never dropped one, but what a stress! So the feeling is always with me.
