Many evos has gone deep in 7s with the Evo drivetrain. It's all in the suspension setup. Current Evo record holder RRT is using just the clutch slipper and a good 2 way adjustment.

Running a time is one thing, doing it 5-10 times in a row without breaking or having to abort the run is another thing. My comment has nothing to do with supporting the AG Evo. This breakthrough developement just happened only in a couple of years. You can clearly see these evo lunch at the shootout this year. None of them hop no more. People have found a break through with the suspension setup. This isnt unachievable. It's been done. Why add complexity.

Kyle’s is a purpose built race car that’s not really street capable with a billet block and a sequential. The only thing they share is the chassis and the k-series base engine. Last thing, they look very happy and confident with that combo but still 2.2 is nothing new just in case they found a sweet spot for LR 2.2 94/156mm w/ 1.012" height piston. most high powered evo afraid to use that shorty piston. AG always 1 step ahead, cheers!
Obviously none of yall have seen RRT Evo, Wild Evo, Boostin Evo, Boostin dsm lunch, and countless others on good old all original Mitsubishi engineered suspension chassis. Even though they are upgraded suspension parts, none of them are utilizing other suspension parts from other manufacturer.
