Out of all the features that have been requested basically none of them came. Why is there not a time based light and dark mode? Why do I still have to go in and change it manually depending on what time of the day it is?

I like windows 11. However, I don't understand why I need to make a complete reinstall of windows to make this upgrade. I thought i was going to see a big AI shift or something, but these look like changes that could have happened without a new reinstall... I guess the popcnt requirement is the real reason for the reinstall to support better security, but they didn't mention that.
Also to my understanding you don't need to update the OS, 23h2 will still get updates?
But such improvements listed begs the question, if i spent so much time updating and getting my pc where i like it, do these features warrant my added time going through setup for all my games and peripherals?
Microsoft needs to make this more appealing, i bet there are more features that would be more convincing, right?

I've felt the same way, and then I discovered Linux. There are MANY resources and Linux has a great Community for help. Almost all their distributions are FREE., and are very stable. Don't knock it until you've tried it, and then you'll love it and never go back to microshaft
