Every person is accountable to God. Without God, there is no life. He controls all life and death. Ramses II is identical to you - he was a human being. There is one race - humans! There are two distinct people on the earth - Jew and Gentile. Both are of the human race.

This man was a strong warrior he creates a peace treaty with Hatusili III of the Hittites and what is most interesting is that he had 90 years old when he dies ,when in Ancient Egypt people rarely passed 50 years old , however he was one of the strongest pharaohs in the history. I see the Black Revisionists are still at work regarding ancient Egypt. Ramses II had (and his mummy still has) red hair. In 1975, French scientists, while performing conservation work on the mummy, used a hair sample to conclude that Ramses II was a leucoderm (a white skinned person). The same work discovered his hair was originally red, having later been dyed with a Henna compound as old age (white hair) set in. Ramses II died at the age of 90. His hair is (and always was) "wavy," not "kinky" or "curly." See Balout et al. 1985.
His skull has been described as "Nordic type" by various scientists performing skull analyses over the years. Perhaps the best known mention of this is in the description given by Professor Raymond Dart in 1939. The description of Ramses II by Biblical scholar Archibald Sayce in 1927 is essentially the same. Even the Egyptian Antiquities authorities stated categorically that Ramses II was NOT Black, nor were any of his predecessors.
A Senagalese scholar named Cheikh Anta Diop once claimed that Ramses II was Black. This was debunked by nearly the entire scientific community that had access to the relevant studies. Nevertheless, we still see this claim pop up from time to time, as in this example.
This is no different than the fairly regular appearance of a "Blacked" Nefertiti. And, as is usual in these situations, the artist has taken a great deal of "creative license," essentially rendering Ramses II Black. The artist and the author of the video are either ignorant of the information above, or worse, have an agenda. I believe it to be the latter.

I know. To be honest, it makes me sad. I had a great passion for this wonderful culture since i was a little child, i read a lot, watched all of the existing documentaries at the times, even went to Egypt, and seeing stupid people getting at each others throats from both sides (and like the majority of these people really didn't look that much into it) just takes out the magic of this ancient culture. I don't even understand why this is such a big deal, as far as i remember scientists told us long ago, that there is basically no one left from that culture, no real ancient egyptians, so i don't understand. I am hungarian, and we came from somewhere from around the Ural mountains, and everybody knows that todays hungarians are not like the ancient ones at all. So why claim it right? Isn't it the same in this case? Also i never understood this black and white simplistic view. Different countries have different cultures, i don't think it is a this or that thing, i would never claim russian culture as my own for example.

@Andrea Crnjanin , Power of names! can devide what is ONE thing to look as if it is a different thing while in essence it is one thing AT THE CORE. Look!, Islam has always been there before Muhammad but may be people called it different names, some called it Christianity, some called it Judaism etc
When Muslims talk about ISLAM they mean that all prophetic teachings, the way of Life, worshiping God is what ISLAM is (Worshiping God in his own terms) since Adam. So the fact that some people decided to call themselves Christians or Jews doesn' t mean they were not Muslims (in those times). So according to Muslims interpretations, Adam, Noah, David, Solomon, Moses, Jesus, apostles of Jesus (Mathew, Peter, John and others) and all people who followed them were all Muslims. However their way of Islam was different from Islam of today because GOD has decreed different ways of worshiping him in every age. So if you ask me who are Christians today are they Muslims in that sense? I can say that they are Muslims who follow prophet Jesus but unfortunately their teachings have been corrupted on the fact that they sometimes take Jesus as GOD almighty interchangeably!. And if you ask me are Jews Muslims?, I can tell tell you that they are Muslims who follow prophet Moses but unfortunately they reject prophet Jesus. And if you ask me who are those who call themselves Muslims today, I will answer you that they are Muslims who follow prophet Muhammad and believe in all past prophets!. SO don't be confused with the word Islam, Muslims etc. [ALLAH knows best]

Ramesses II's hair was red, he dyed it later in life to keep up a youthful appearance. Some believe his family worshiped Seth(his father's name, Seti, reflected this) because of this family trait, as Seth was associated with the color red and redheaded people! Very good facial reconstruction though, I've been a huge fan of these videos for awhile now.
Side note, historians generally agree that Ancient Egypt was quite the melting pot. People from the Mediterranean region, the Fertile Crescent, and Africa alike flocked there. But really, does the amount of melanin in the skin of a three thousand year old civilization really effect their accomplishments at all?

      The Quran Says:
10:90 And We helped the Children of Israel cross the sea, and Pharaoh and his soldiers followed them out of hatred and animosity. But when he was certain to drown, he said: "I believe that there is no god except the One in whom the Children of Israel believe, and I am of those who have submitted."
10:91 Now you say this? While before you disobeyed and were of the corrupters!
10:92 *This day, We will preserve your body, so that you become a sign for those after you. But most of the people are unaware of Our signs!*
      (Monotheist Group Translation)

No, he knows because he read what the generations of people who have devoted their entire lives to studying this stuff have had to say. The mummy's hair was preserved. Take five seconds to Google a photo of it and you can see it for yourself - it's red. It's not naturally red, because Ramses II died at 87 - by that time it was white and he was having it dyed (there's plenty of evidence that hair dyes were used in Ancient Egypt, as well. Look it up.) But second, in 1985 the Egyptian government requested that France assist them in preserving the mummy of Ramses II. Before preserving it and sending it back to Cairo in a hermetically sealed chamber, a team of French biologists ran a series of tests on the mummy, and found naturally occurring red pigments in the roots of its hair. And third, there are numerous depictions in Egyptian tomb art of fair-skinned, red/blond-haired individuals, although darker-colored people (brown hair and eyes) made up the majority, as they do today. So yes, Ramses II was a fair-skinned redhead. Do your homework, especially before you insult someone. (drops mic)

Creator gave a challenge that the body of cursed one will be preserved and was found after 3000 years from the sea in 1890s. Read surah Taha in the holy Quran for more details. Moses (peace be upon him) lead the oppressed people to freedom and yet people still admire Ramses who oppressed innocent people and claimed to be God. Why is it people still admire him. i think its so funny that black people get so mad because he is white. his real hair was red. Professor P. F. Ceccaldi, with a research team, studied some hairs from the mummy’s scalp. Rameses II was 87 years old when he died, and his hair had turned white. Ceccaldi determined that the reddish yellow color of the hair was due to a dye with a dilute henna solution. Microscopic examinations showed that the hair roots contained natural red pigments, and that therefore, during his younger days, Rameses II had been a red head. Analysis concluded that these red pigments did not result from the hair somehow fading, or otherwise being altered after death, but did represent Rameses’ natural hair color. look it up if you dont believe me. why do yall want them to be black so bad, haha?

@Marissa Lopes Yes, his family was "new blood" in Egyptian royalty. His grandfather (the general Paramesse = Ramses I) was designated heir by Horemheb because he not only had a son (Seti I) but also a strapping grandson (Ramses II). Incest was probably common only among royalty, so it's quite likely that there was little inbreeding in the commoner family of Paramesse. Ramses II's Great Royal Wife was Nefertari, whose origins are a puzzle, but it's possible that she was related to the late 18th dynasty extended royal family, though not inbred.

There is no way he could have been black. His features are very middle eastern and he had red hair in his youth. I've never seen a black or mixed race person with his facial features or natural red hair. It's just stupid to suggest he was black maybe his 14th great- grandmother was black but that's it he's clearly mainly white or as I think totally white in origin so basically middle eastern. Yes Egypt is in Africa but Egypt is the only country in Africa to be CONNECTED to the Middle East. They had lots of contact with the Hittites modern day Turkey(I think) some of the pharoahs married Hittites princesses like Ramses.

+NewMusicPlusTv Well than her other parent has white ancestry as well. In order to be a red head both parents need to carry the genes for it. She would be a very rare child, very unusual if she as u said has natural red hair and of predominantly African ancestry. She has more white ancestors than u may think. For me though I think the pharoahs were middle eastern mainly because of their facial features. If they had black African blood then it would not have been much. Remember sadly the lighter u were in colouring the more u were thought to be Devine. These are only my opinions, if u believe they were black then ok I'm not going to try change yr mind. Still haven't seen a person with predominantly black ancestry with them facial features or red hair.

    • @jamiemohan2049
      @jamiemohan2049 8 лет назад +5

+NewMusicPlusTv I don't think all pharaohs were predominantly of middle eastern ancestry though. I accept and believed later dynasties like the Nubians were black. Just not Ramses or most of the pharaohs that came before them. However the Macedonian Ptolemies the last Egyptian pharoahs were predominantly white in appearance as they were Greek in origin. Also as u have said about red hair originating over centuries over chemical things, yeah I agree but I also think that was how it started and mainly in colder climates. I can't imagine a black African being deprived of this chemical or losing pigments that causes red hair as they live in an extremely hot continent. Yr cousin is a lot more mixed than u think. Recessive genes have a part to play. Red hair originated in Scandinavia before spreading to most of Europe.

TheBlueOracle Microscopic inspection of Ramses II hair proved he had naturally red hair before turning white with age. The anthropological study and microscopic analysis of the pharaoh’s hair showed that Ramses II was a fair-skinned man related to the ancient Mediterranean peoples. Under the microscope the hair of Ramses II mummy showed the hairs were slightly crimped and show an oval cross-section specific to Caucasoid peoples. The ancient hair shows fine structure of the cuticle and cortex at a sub-cellular level perfectly preserved and indistinguishable from normal modern hair. In fact even the wigs of the ancient Egyptians were tested and proven to be Caucasoid. There is much evidence to this and thorough studies have been done proving the hair to be Caucasoid. Forensic examiners can distinguish between Caucasoid, Mongoloid and Negroid origin of which all exhibit distinct characteristics from one racial group to another.

Based on his 13 STR markers tested, the probabilities are that he belonged to haplogroup E1b1a (aka E-V38, the Black African branch), although there is a faint possibility that it is E1b1b (E-M215, the Northeast African and Mediterranean branch).

When it comes to people from the past and their deeds It's a subjective juidgment of who was great and not. Alexander the great is considered as great. Look at what he did. Conquered so much land at such a young age. He warred and killed and lead his men, put nobody but himself among his men in the frontline. He valued his men and encouraged them to take persian wives and even tried to blend cultures together. He strived to do what he thought best: to die young and let his name echoe through eternity. What did Persian kings do? much the same. Darios I (the great) is named great for his reforms of the persian empire and he is considered as great by mane people from his time. Even ancient greeks called him great. The persian kings however mutilated children by castrating them using them for their "third eye" (no castrated men could inherit the throne and could spy ont heir enemies. Also they were used for pleasures in bed. Alexander too did horrible things. After he took Tyre he crucified men. He had people from his army murdered and even killed the very man who had saved his life once. Roman emperor Diocletian was surrounded by eunuchs, persians were not the only. Greeks traded with eunuchs. Greeks had slaves, so did so many other empires. Ramses II was a man of his time and he would defeniteley be considered as great by Alexander. Alexander thought of Darius III as great. Ramses II led his men at the battle of Kadush. Respect goes both ways. Nobody could ever rule without bloodshed and being hard. Hell life was always hard in those days, up until 1800's and the industrial revolution people acutally broke their backs for food. In the medieval and ancient times they did so literally. So easy to say who was not great and who was. Then on the other hand; One can argue for people such as Ivan the terrible for not being so great. Cruelty and madness often go hand in hand. So does bravery... Alexander was brave and no doubt so was Ramses II.
