Would this procedure work for Pembroke Welsh Corgis? I use a deshedding shampoo and I bathe her twice then I use a conditioner.. While she has the conditioner on I run a deshedding tool through her coat. I'm sure that you know that corgis have a double coat. After I rinse the conditioner out I use a looped tool that's opened out straight to remove as much of the water from her coat before I towel dry her. She doesn't like the dog hair dryer, but it dries her coat so much faster than a human hair dryer. My folks had two Golden Retrievers, both named Niki. He sure is vocal when you bathe him! I've got to figure out how to save your RUclips video, so I can go back to it when I groom my Corgi, Gucci. I find it very informative.
Thank you so much for following me on RUclips. Yes it would be very similar. I do have a video on a corgi, it was one our first videos and we did do a live de shed grooming tutorial on our channel. ruclips.net/video/hb2L_tcM2Ds/видео.htmlsi=UOHtZvEqYjHSi7QX ruclips.net/video/tONr-mg5pBQ/видео.htmlsi=Z78ZtZkME1yJQp_l ruclips.net/user/livew78Hh5jqBzg?si=HgSS3eqUo4mxfS3-
this is true when you are drying the longer areas, but on shorter areas I prefer to hold the dryer closer to push and remove the dead hairs out. It's important to watch what the hair is doing when you are drying so you can change the different drying techniques as you go through the longer hair, then the shorter hair. I hope this make sense 💕
Hi there, because goldens have a water repellent coat it can be difficult to break the surface tension with water , just apply so shampoo neater on her coat, then wash into her coat, you will find the combination of shampoo and water will penetrate the coat and make it very easy then to shampoo. I hope that helps
Such a sweet dog! Nice one Mel.
@@paulkelsey2632 thanks Paul

I thought you had to hold the dryer way back, so you didnt create whipknots? Have i been doing it wrong? Damn lol

Yes, thanks so much! I absolutely adore you're videos, and have learnt SOOOO much from you. Thanks again ❤@MelanieNewmanSalonEssentials
Thank you so much, that means a lot 💗
When I bathe my golden, the water beads up on the fur fur. It makes it hard to get her wet all the way to her skin.
