Well to introduce myself,
I Have been in the fish keeping for more than two decades.
Like most of you, it all started with a hobby and gradually turned into a profession.
But I still consider myself as a hobbyist
Coz it's more a passion than a profession.
Over the years I have raised many fish species such as guppies,endlers, freshwater angelfish, oscars, arrowanas Sting rays and discus.
And had success in breeding fish varieties like guppies, fresh water angelfish, discus and Flowerhorns.
Through the RUclips Channel medium would love to share my experience and knowledge in fish keeping and breeding over the years.
As my channel name suggests my videos would mostly focus on the Discus fish but also I would upload some of my fish videos other than Discus which I had raised and bred in past years and also from fish keepers and Breeders.
I would also love to cover other hobbyist, breeders, raisers and professionals in fish keeping and through RUclips medium would share their experience, knowledge, tips and tricks to all the viewers.

Uv light is not advisable to directly expose in ur tank.

Can we do deworming with metrogyl tablet plus Epsom salt or metrogyl tablet plusparaxin 500???

Sir use metrogyl with rock salt for deworming no need to add paraxin while deworming

Sir mere planted discus tank me 4hours uv sterelizer everyday chalta hai toh ye parasite aquarium water me rehta hai
I don't think so coz uv light kills all the bacteria whether good or bad

Sir mera discus feed to sahi se le raha hai but room light a colour fade hoja raha hai.mai ghm feed karta hunn 4times a day and every alternate day 50%water change karta huun.aapna ph no milta to mai aapko vdo snd karta.

Sir make sure water parameters and temperature are same in both the tanks
If internal parasites not happen. D warming kaya karna chahiye?
Haan bhai it’s better you deworm your fishes at least in a month or two even if there are no signs of internal parasites

So metrogyl is the treatment for white poop, internal parasite, deworm and hex and hole in the head!?

Sorry buddy for the late reply was stuck in some work We use same medicine for all but if we go deeper all the above disease hav slightly different medications which r not available easily.

U r right sir. Harmfull as well as usefull bacteria dono kill ho jayenge but jab aap ka macchi bimar hai toh cycle maintain karna jada important nahi hai. Fish ka life save karna is more important. Cycle toh macchi recover hone k baad bhi establish ho sakta hai.

Bahut sare bolte hai hexamita ho gaya to fish gaya. Metrogyl wagera kam nehi karta. Kya ye sach hai ?
Sir many Breeders use different medications to treat hexamita for some metrogyl work for others some other medicines
Aisa kuch nahi hai Sir hexamita bhi treat ho sakta hai agar apne early stages mein detect Kiya and proper medications Kiya toh

Yes but make in very small quantity and use within 3 to 4 days
@@DiscusNinja but many say metro has only 8hr working time and after its ineffective even if it's mixed with food due to moisture..
Yes absolutely true
But I think it implies when we add it to the tank through tablet or ivy hence when mixed with food would recommend to use within a couple of days
Personally I think when added to food it’s more effective as it goes right into the stomach

Biswajit Dada in my opinion Hikari bio gold , Australian Black worms sera and tropical granules are few of the best dry foods available for discus
Also tetrabits original is also good

Actually I have heard from an expert that if we feed those black worms to the breeding pair only before a couple of weeks maybe twice a week we get a better egg count and hatch rate

Biswajit Dada I have never tried any ot these
I used to feed sterilised frozen blood worms to my discus thrice a week along with animal heart mix as staple diet and had got good overall growth and shape through it
Dada I would suggest you better go for sterilised frozen blood worms rather than dried worms
